| | | Palm Pilots I need information on these. I am looking to get one. I need a discount one too. A little flaws on it doesn't matter. Preferably color and if I can find one with the right price, a camera would be neat it in. Do any of you guys have one? Any comments? Know any good sites? Thanks!

| | | I have a Toshiba with Windows mobile edition or whatever. Good color screen and pretty good battery life. They are usually cheaper than other companies such as hp/Compaq.
Don't buy anything made by Palm. They are absolute crap and its 10x better to have Windows, word and media player are included, much better support.
Skip Sony too. They have their own goofy OS.
All Windows mobile pocket PCs are listed at the link below:

Actually the Sony Clie' is pretty impressive. My dad has one and he really, really likes it. One advantage is that it uses Memory Stick. If you have any Sony perhipals, consider getting the Clie'. Bad thing is that they are really expensive.

| | | Yes, I can see why a Clie would be good if you buy Sony products...but if you don't have a Sony digital camera or anything that uses a memory stick...skip Sony and get a Windows Mobile.

| | | All of the window versions are too expensive. It's either a Sony Clie or PalmOne Zire.

| | | Here's another solid unit...I purchased several of these for my business. I don't think they are made anymore, but I noticed someone down at the bottom is selling theirs pretty much brand new for $140. You should definitely look into it.

| | | I've got a Palm Zire 21 (B&W).
It's nothing fancy, but it does what I need it to do.
The only thing about color ones is the cheapest out there will run you at least $200.

It's brand new and is color with a camera. Wow! I've been researching these too, and I am falling in love with them.

I think if you want color for a low price, the Zire 31 should fit you pretty well. I have three handhelds with Palm OS, and they are all pretty stable.

Definitely. I use mine to store pretty much everything. Phone numbers, stuff I have to do, etc.
I also shell out the money for wireless Internet access. Its pretty expensive and its not really fast, but it can become very handy. I've used it a few times when I was lost (No asking directions for me) and use it all the time to check stock prices / news.

| | | /\ I 100% doubt that I will be getting wireless internet.
I am 99.9% sure that I am getting a Sony Clie PEG-TJ27.
http://www.infosync.no/news/2004/02/11/gfx/sony_clie_peg_tj27_02.jpg
It's $170 for Camera and Color screen. And the best part is that it's NEW, not used or refurbished. It's has 32 MB of memory, which is plenty, and has a memory stick slot in case I ever need more, which I doubt i will. Plus, if I am not mistaking, it already has some games on it, and I want to purchase more to put on there. I also want to get a Bible program and put it on there so I can use it every Sunday.
