a reply to a job application from port adventura.

i'm just going to get it from my hotmail.

Gracias,

Just curious. . . You applied to Port Adventura and you don't have a strong background in Spanish? I would think that that'd be pretty important.

"We send this message in answer to its sent e-mail the past month of November where express its interest by working in our business. We write him to offer it the possibility to carry out some practices in Port Adventure, in the Department of Operations, concretely in the section of attention al client. Its functions would be: attention al visiting in the entrance of the park and in the entrance the parking, in our attractions and in the points of information inside the park.

So much the date of start and end of the practices as the duration depends on its disponiblidad. Port Ventures can receive him from ends of the month of March to October.

If it was interested in carrying out practical happinesses or well to receive more information, please is put in contact with us through this e-mail or al telephone (00 34)"

its not clear enough i tried it already.

hey just saw the post above.

I would have to try to learn basic spanish before i leave, but the area a huge number of mostly english tourists in summer, they take over that section of coast. I already said (although i'm not sure it was clear enough) that i don't speak much spanish. (i don't speak any but in a few months i'll learn a bit). You have to see it, there are almost more english than spanish people there in the summer.

But an english worker could be useful for them for dealing with english customers i guess - i bet most of the managers would speak enough english to talk to me.

How much clearer do you want it to be? You can figure out exactly what it is saying by that translation.

Unfortunatly i cannot work before 1st june , becasue of my univeristy exams.

Most there will probably speak at least a little English, many will be fluent, so if you just send it in English you should be fine.

but it seems rude. understandably, they might resent english taking over even more than it does already around there.

I know spanish a lot and I could help you out. Online Translators are absolutley horrible at forming logical sentances. I never try and use one anymore. To avoid mistakes, keep your sentance basic. I can help you make it complex if you need me to, but just...keep it basic. The more complexity you throw in, the more errors there will be.

Just use the translator for words, not sentances, and you should be fine.

Actually freetranslations form perfect spanish sentences when translating from english to spanish. They just can't do it the other way around. I've been using an english to spanish translator for the past 3 years of High School spanish for reports and whatnot and have never been corrected for grammar mistakes, mispellings, etc. I've also had my Cuban grandmother proof read it for me and she said they were always perfect.

So take it from me, translating from English to Spanish on freetranslations.com will form perfect spanish sentences.

I'm in Spanish I at school and I know a little Spanish. The one thing that I would suggest learing is how to ask for something and basic greetings. Don't know what else you would need, but I would really recomend taking a class to learn the basics.
