The Top Ten Most Overrated things by Kyle L

It's been a while since you got a chunk of my opinions and posted with rage against my opinions, so I am back to stir the pot again, and release my list of the top ten most overrated things of todays world. I can feel you cringe within your spine, only to hope your favorite thing isn't on this list. Scroll down my firend, scroll down.

1. Apple's iPod:
If you've been on the forums for at least a day, you've proabobly found out that I hate iPod and find them severley overrated. Yep, they are. I've always confessed that they are indeed, a great electronic MP3 player as a product itself, so why is it on this list? People think that iPods are the greatest invention on the earth and think its the ONLY MP3 player that exists. The fact that people can't get over it drives me NUTS! Also the fact that iPods aren't perfect. They're only compatible with one program, have no replacable lithium ion battery, are very prone to mechanical problems, and have minimal features and upgrades. Sorry, there are negatives to this item, its not the greatest thing ever created, get over it.

2. Hating the Yankee's:
Whats up with this? Everyone hates the Yankee's now. Never understood why. Is it because the Yankee's have stellar players? Is it because they're a strong team? Or is it now just cool to hate them? I really don't know. See, I don't actually LIKE the Yankee's, hating them seems like a trend now-a-days. They get a lot of players because their salary is incredibly high, and you know, thats something that the Yankee's should be proud about, good marketing. Stop drinking haterade and support your own team.

3. Halo and Halo 2:
This one is quite simple, Halo is severley overrated. Its a generic shooter with the most repetetive levels and maps I have ever seen, and the fact that maps are so long and never end add on to it. I SWEAR I was running in circles in almost all the levels, the overuse of everything drags it out way too much. Whats funny is that everyone was all hyped up for Halo 2 like it was going to be the best thing in the world, but in reality 2 weeks later people have already beat it like 3 times.

4. Hummers:
Its not the fact that they get rediculously low gas mileage, its the fact that these cars aren't practical in any situation that an average citizen will face. Offroading in a hummer is a marketing scheme, any hardcore offroader will have a far smaller vehicle with far more upgrades than any average car you have ever seen. The fact that Hummers only seat 5 don't even catagorize it as a soccer mom vehicle. It doesn't catagorize into ANY type of vehicle, what a piece.

5. Boston Red Sox:
Before you all yell at me, I have a reason to be hating on everyone loving the Red Sox: The fact I am on the west coast. If you live with Boston, support your team, its the natural thing to do. But for me, whenever I scroll around school and see a Boston hat, jersey, or whatnot, I wanna clench a fest and deck them straight in the face. We live in California. Maybe if you're from Boston it might be legit...but seriously. The fact that everyone loves Boston is because they beat the Yankee's. Since everyone hates the Yankee's for a reason I can't find, its a apparent match-up. Each redundant thing leads to another.

6: Gran Theft Auto Games:
This is really simple. Why the hell didn't I think of this? Take anything and everything that is illegal, vulgar, and violent and put it into a video game. I would've been rich by now.

7:Troy, King Arthur, Etc.
This is also simple. Take something people loved about a great movie series (The Lord of the Rings) and drag them out in 3 hour movies. I watched Troy, and literally fell asleep and got bored within the first 5 minutes. The movie is covered better in your textbooks, you could proabobly read it faster than watch the damn movie.

8. Xbox/Xbox 360:
Another genuis invention from Microsoft. A cheap PC in a box. If you're reading my post, you can proabobly play some old classic PC games that don't require a super machine. What makes Xbox overrated is that everything about it and on it has been done before, the innovation level is low. Online gaming? Its been on the PC for years. Voice Chat? PC did it......Clans? Do I have to remind you? Everything and anyting on the Xbox has been done before, Microsoft just loves your money. And the games? You can buy them for PC for 20 bucks less, or proabobly for another system. Besides, if you don't have a Xbox, and you think you're missing out on Halo, do yourself a favor, buy Half Life 2. You'll even forget that Halo exists.

9. Myspace:
I'll admit it, I have a myspace. I caught on and spent time making my own myspace. I did everything any normal user would do. Make a custom page, add friends, join groups, and post pictures. Whats next? I have absolutley no friggin idea. Its boring and stupid now. I don't even bother. Just go out in the real world and make friends, the internet isn't needed there.....

10. Expensive Shoes:
Sweet dude, you just blew 100 dollars on the brand new Air Jordans that are made in the same exact sweatshop as my 30 dollar vans? Oh crap dude, got some scuff and dirt on them? Better go was them off. I mean, shoes aren't designed to get dirty or protect your feet from the elements...right?

And there you have it. The think-tank is at it again. Got some opinions you wanna voice out at me? Go for it!

1) I don't own an IPod, nor can I justify getting one. But, they are basically the walkmans/discmans of the 21st century... only expensive.

2) I've always hated the Yankees, save for a couple of players who I thought could play elsewhere.

3) Never understood Hallo 1/2. Of course I never play those type of games.

4) I agree... I'm happy with my Cutlass Ciera.

5) Boston has been my 2nd favorite team, and I was extremely happy when they beat the curse of the Bambino last year. It's sad the White Sox beat them this year, but the White Sox have the better team.

6) Grand Theft Auto games is a huge stress reliever for me (I don't own San Andreas, but I own GTA 1, 2, and 3 and that's it)

7) Never watched them, never will.

8) Hence why I will be upgrading to a PS3 and giving my PS2 to my friend Aaron (who won't upgrade his PS1).

9) Myspace is also kinda overrated. I just use it for the giggles. That's it.

10) I just bought a $30 pair of Avias to replace my last $30 pair of Avias. Never paid more than $50 for shoes.

I agree with every thing on there except the baseball ones, since I dont really care about baseball. iPods are very overated IMO. All though they are nice, I feel that they are very expenicive and you can buy a similar device for much less.

I agree with most of those. And especially the HUMMER one. Everytime I see one of those on the road, I wanna cut the person off, get out of the car, tell them to lower their window and shout in their face "YOUR RIDE DOESN'T LOOK THAT HOT WHEN YOU'RE HOGGING UP ALL THE CRUDE OIL WITH THAT GAS GUZZLER, PRICK!"

For disliking the Yankees I can't be counted for being overrated. I've disliked them for so long it's genuine.
I actually do like the look of the Hummers but still wish not to see them commonplace in society. I'm not too cool with lousy gas mileage.
I think Ipods are overrated yes.
I won't spend more than $50 for sneakers. Adidas and now Classic Reebok are in my fold.

I agree with most of these, and especially with the Hummer one. I dont see why people are still buying them. They're huge, bulky, and just plain ugly. Also, with gas prices at a high right now, why are people still going out and buying them?

1. Agreed. I like my Dell mp3 player :)
2. I grew up hating the yankees. Its not a recent thing, its something I was raised to do.
3. Agreed, Halo seems so-so to me.
4. eh, they can be useful but not to the majority of owners who are wealthy suburbanites.
5. I hate the Red sox too. They are right up there with thy Yanks, but to me they are the lesser of two evils so to say. I do like Johnny Damon, but that's just because I like guys who can run.
6. The old GTAs kick ass. The recent ones aren't as cool..
7. Is Troy really overrated? Didn't it flop at the box office?
8. I prefer Play Station so I guess I think X Box is overrated too.
9. Agreed.. I don't even have one.
10. All I wear is flip flops so I cant really relate :)

Id rather drive my jeep wrangler for off roading than a hummer, or one of those new jeep commanders.

I have an iPod and I really liked it, until the batter power would wear out after a few songs even though it said it was fully charged. I need to send that thing in.

Everyone said Troy's sex scenes were great...they showed almost nothing, they sucked...i didnt see much of the movie though.

Also Grand Theft Auto gets old fast

I agree with Xbox / 360, Xbox just had a few good games Halo and Halo 2 IMO. A couple others too

The Red Sox are the new Yankees. Everyone complains about the Yankees salary, but the Red Sox, are right behind them, and I hate how everyone jumps on the bandwagon, and I see Boston hats on everyone after they win the world series. Where were they when Boston couldn't win? There are two things I can't stand when it comes to sports. People giving up on their team when they do badly, and pretend like they don't exist, and people who cheer for a completely random team after they start to do well. If you've had a favorite team your entire life and you support them through the good and bad, then congratulations when your team does well. But if you can't stick with a team, why even watch (or pretend to watch) sports? UGH! I get mad just thinking about it.

1). iPods are certainly overrated, I agree. But at the same time, I think the whole "hating iPods" thing is also overrated. They are overpriced, that's for sure, and they're by no means the only MP3 player out there, as many seem to think. They aren't bad, though. My experience with iPods has been pretty positive, they work well and they look good. Remember that Apple's core focus has been on simplicity, and iPods are easy to operate. They do their job, I think.

2). Since I care nothing about professional sports and know very little about it, I can't really understand the whole point behind hating any team. Why can't we all just get along?

3). Okay, I agree with you on this one. I hate all first-person shooters, and the Halo games are no exception. I really don't see what sets them apart from other games in the genre.

4). I really don't get the point behind Hummers. They get such poor mileage and it seems as though the people who buy them don't need them. I've seen families with one kid who don't go on big road trips or anything buy one, and it's really frustrating, they're just huge wastes of resources. I also find it ironic that some people buy one saying how it makes them feel safe, but what they don't realize is how big of a menace they can be to normal sized cars.

5). Yeah, it was kind of neat that the Red Sox won the World Series after eighty-something years or whatever it was. Again, pro sports, don't care.

6). I've played the GTA games at friends' houses and they are kind of fun, in some sadistic way. They are overrated, though, I don't think I would want to play them for more then 20 minutes at a time, I'd get bored.

7). Though I never saw King Arthur, I did see Troy and I thought it was actually quite good. Very underrated, I think.

8). Yeah, the X-Box is basically a glorified computer, there's nothing too special about it. Plus the controllers are uncomfortable to hold.

9). I have a Myspace too, and it's kind of fun, I did meet some new Internet friends. I don't get the point of using it for personal friends, though, seeing how you already know them physically. I haven't added any of my personal friends to it, and yes, I do think Myspace is pretty overrated. My sisters go all out on theirs, they'll spend hours customizing it. I'll never understand it.

10). I agree, expensive shoes are overrated, especially seeing how they're basically there to protect your feet. Neither of my sneakers were over $40.

1. Apple's iPod: You ain't cool unless you have an IPOD! Heck, I'll send you a free iPod!!! (if you send me a free check for $400 first, I'll send the iPod as soon as the check clears)

2. Hating the Yankee's: Baseball can burn for all I care. How can a sport involving so many idiots and greedy morons last. I call unsportmanlike conduct against Baseball in it's entirety.

3. Halo and Halo 2: People are getting rich off of the population. Now if only I could cut a slice of that.

4. Hummers: If I drank too much and I see a Hummer, I wouldn't puke in it. Not because I like the car or am respectful in that case. My vomit derserves better than that.

5. Boston Red Sox: Same response as #2.

6: Grand Theft Auto Games: How can a game that fun get so boring so quickly...

7:Troy, King Arthur, Etc: Never seen either... I don't pay to sleep, so I won't watch them.

8. Xbox/Xbox 360: I don't buy things from Microsoft. (As I type through a Microsoft® keyboard, move my cursor with my Microsoft® mouse, and am typing into a computer "designed for" and runs Microsoft® Windows® XP)

9. Myspace: It ain't myspace, it's YOURSPACE!

10. Expensive Shoes: How can anyone be so stupid as to buy ugly $100+ shoes and "bling bling" while having no food on the table. This goes doubly for those with kids.

I agree with you on everything but this. I've hated the Yankees ever since I can remember. I find it almost funny that you put "hating the Yankees" in this topic when "Loving the Yankees" is probably more overrated. They are the one team that everyone loves. Granted, they're a great team, but I feel that they have just spread too far. I mean, they don't always win.
I end this proclemation with a public service announcement:
Twins rock.

1. iPOD/Walkmans, same thing. I don't listen to music "on the go." I prefer to watch where I'm walking so I don't bump into the moron too engrossed in their cellphone gaming/taking pics/videos (why would you talk on a cellphone anyhow) or Ipod.

Perhaps a bonus, tell me why cellphones need to have so many extras...why people feel the need to have one (mainly if its because everyone else has one) and the biggest one of them all, why cell users get pissed at those that don't have them.

2. It could be Steinbrenner, it could be Bush...the fact is the buying of players rather than develop their own. Remember 9/11? Everyone became a Yankee fan. OK bad example...back in the day before morbid baseball salaries, the game was great and it didn't matter whether you were Wahoo, Cardinal or Yankee. But since there is definitely one owner who would vote against the cap...we'll never see a salary cap in baseball. Putting one in would even up the teams. Look at the NFL, sure there is a dominant team in the Pats or Steelers, but they don't go out and buy people for the sake of buying people.

3. Only FPS that matters to me is Postal2. You do the same in that game as you do in Halo/Half Life...you kill. But the bonus is that you can decapitate people with a rusty shovel, you can use cats as silencers, you can pour gas on people and light them on fire and you can even piss on people.

4. Hummers. When I first saw this, I thought, "Why would Kyle be against a nice sexual technique..." The first version of the passenger Humvee looked cool. H2 and H3 look like oversized SUV's on crack and 'roids. If you kept a Hummer like you kept a classic car, then it would be cool. But the fact that they get 3 feet to the gallon...

5. Red Sox...I like making fun of them more than actually liking them. I could care less how they do now, since the Curse was ended, but even though I cheerred for them last year to win, I'm not going out to buy a BoSox hat...I'd rather think of: "Ball gets by Buckner!!" and "Way back to left...Yastremski will not got it, its a HOME RUN. a 3-run Home Run by Bucky Dent!" or "The pitch from Wakefield...swung on, hit high, deep to left and it is GONE...See-ya! The Yankees win the pennant!" Okay, so that last one was strecthing...but you get the idea.

6. Gran Theft Auto? Suddenly we're stealing our grandmas' Buicks? or do you mean Grand Theft Auto?

Let's break them down...GTA (Original and London 1969) I played in college. My buddy had it on his computer...plus so many days playing it in the Math and Comp Science Lab with the words of "NO WITNESSES" being yelled.

GTA2...have it, but can't really get into it, gameplay/graphics/weapons all changed drastically.

GTA3...I beat it, I restart it and play a different way each time. A nice way to relieve some stress. Also see my Postal2 comment above.

7. N/A

8. I buy consoles based on the controllers. Gamecube and XBox are too similar and too difficult to determine which button is which.

9. Myspace? Yeah, I've seen those things. I don't believe in letting people see something for free. You want to know me, talk to me. My AIM profile tells you plenty. My TN profile (linked in sig) tells you enough.

10. OK, I'm guilty. I dropped $100 on bowling shoes. But they last. Shoes that are around $70-$80 are discounted at this one store for my family, since we have been going there nearly 30 years. I'd like to think that my New Balance shoes have enough support and a life that exceeds that of the Air Jordans. And I know my shoes will get dirty...that's normal.

1. Better players for cheaper than an Ipod.
2. I don't care about baseball, but the Yankee's irritate me because New York thinks that the world revolves around themselves, the only place that bothers me as much as New York is Texas.
3. Halo also amazed me in its popularity. "OMFGZ YOU CAN PLAY CO-OP!" That was invented Perfect Dark. The "major plot twist" is another group of aliens being brought into the picture. I still think that has the dumbest 1 player mode ever.
4. Hahaha you're so right about the Hummers.
5. I don't really care much about baseball, so no opinion here.
6. I hate all fighty movies like that. I also hate the Lord Of The Rings movies because they're boring and practically the same thing.
7. I hate those movies too!
8. I like my PC more.
9. I don't read diaries.
10. The expensive shoes are for "metrosexuals" which to me are basically gay people or people with a foot fetish that haven't come to terms with it. For the record I didn't insult either group, so don't turn this into a debate.

I am both a yankee and red sox hater as my team, the Toronto Blue Jays, virtually have no chance of competing with these two teams....unless by some miracle they self distruct. It's very difficult to support your local team when year after year they are competing for 3rd place in the division. I think this is a very valid reason for hating these two teams.

It's also due to fair weather fans. People will pull for a team while they are winning and when they lose they dump them and go find another one that is winning.

I on the other hand am a die hard Panthers fan, I will not switch teams (and I didn't when they were 1-15 either). But oh no, when we went to the Superbowl the fans came out of the woodwork!

What is "metrosexual" about having expensive shoes? I have money, so I am gonna buy nice shoes.

I LOVE your personal text... ;)

1) I own an iPod and like it...alot. The iPod is far superior to my old iRiver 1 gb and rio 2.5 gb players (I go through portible music devices very quickly... ).

2) I've always just hated the yankees...dunno why...

3) Halo is like the best game ever!!!!111 Halo 2 is overrated though. I know somebody who beat the entire game in 1 week.

4) Anyone who owns a hummer should die.

5) I liked them out of sympathy, but now have no obligation towards them.

6) Its fun...for awhile, haven't really played it enough to comment further.

7) N/A

8) Xbox is overrated. PS2 is much better.

9) Myspace is stupid/pointless.

10) My $30 NBs suit me just fine.
Agreed. The iPod is a great mp3 player but it is definitly overrated. There are many other MP3 players out there that can function as well or better then the iPod, howeever with each new generation comes more features and better specs so I can't really complain anymore when people say wow the iPod is great or something like that.
Agreed. I'm a huge Yankee fan, and always have been. Hating the Yankees is just the new cool thing to do and it really gets me angry.
Agree and Disagree. Halo 1 was in no way overreated. It was a great game. Maybe not as revolutionary as everyone says but its story was very well layed out for the amount of time they were given to create the game. The levels were as easy or as hard as you made them. If you chose easy, then yea it would be easy. If you chose Legendary, then have fun trying to beat it yourself. It will take a good 20+ hours. Probably much more. The multiplayer was definitly revolutionary however. That was really half the game and really set it apart from other games. Halo 2 however was pretty generic and really didn't live up to the almost unreachable expectations many had set for it. Thats unfortunate for Halo 2 because it was a great game, but it definitley was overrated.
I guess I can agree with you here but the only problem is hummers aren't exactly hyped up over here like they probably are in California. Where I live custom cars, luxury cars, crossover SUVs and super cars dominate the roads. You can't drive for more then 5 minutes without seeing some sort of variation of the Mercedes SL500 or the Land Rover Range Rover. So the hummer really isn't that big of a deal over here.
I'm a yankee fan so of course I'll agree with you here. However, the Red Sox season and playoffs last year was almost like a Hollywood setting. They were the heroes to beat the dominating dynasty. It would be hard for people to deny that the Red Sox were great and it is probably hard for semi-baseball fans to deny that they like the Red Sox now. I don't blame them for starting to like the Red Sox after last season, but I'm still a Yankee fan at heart so I agree.
6: Gran Theft Auto Games:
This is really simple. Why the hell didn't I think of this? Take anything and everything that is illegal, vulgar, and violent and put it into a video game. I would've been rich by now.
Disagreed, definitley. I think these are great games. Sure the story sucks but the game itself is a hell of a lot of fun. Kyle you really need to stop being so anti-everything and learn to just enjoy whats in front of you. Going with the crowd so bad, you should try it every once in a while. Maybe you'll come out enjoying yourself instead of hating everything? Just an idea.
Never saw King Arthur but Troy was an amazing movie so I have to disagree with you here. How can you say it was a boring movie? I've never seen a more intense action packed movie in a long time. Is there clinically something wrong with you? I mean liking it is one thing, thats personal preference but to say it was boring and made you sleep? Do you live in a world where violence and murder is the normal every day routine so a movie like this would seem small and pointless to you? I would hope not. This movie was amazing IMO. I'm not asking you to like it but to say it was boring and dull is just really stupid. It seems to me that you went into the theater with the idea that this movie was going to suck so inevitably you thought it sucked. Either that or you heard it was an awesome movie by some group of teenagers and instantly said "Ok those kids say its awesome so I'm not going to jump the bandwagon. I'm going to see this movie and tell everyone it sucked just for the sake of arguing against the crowd."
Ok I have to agree and disagree on this one. Yes the idea is stupid and definitley just a money maker but forget that fact and the xbox is just another system in competition with the ever popular playstation. I love xbox in that respect. I love the controllers..I love the games..I love the online gaming community it has created and I love the simplicity it offers with all aspects of the machine. For that, it is a great system whether it is just an ordinary PC or not.
Agree. Never caught on to the whole myspace fad. I really had no need to. I have AIM/AOL and a phone and all of my friends do. For the most part if I meet new people its usually through my friends or friends of freinds so myspace is useless to me.
Umm I'll disagree. Its all about style. You say you wear vans, ok well good for you I'm not into the whole skate board style of clothing so I'm not going to wear $30 vans. I'm into the athlete look so I'm going to go buy a nice pair of basketball shows most likely. And if the most comfortable, best looking basketball shoes cost $100 then I'm probably going to spend that much money on it. I mean if I'm going to be wearing these shoes almost every day for the next year or 2 then why not spend a little extra money?

Well I kept it short and it got a lot of negative feedback cause a lot of people find it a great "stress reliver" and how its fun to just do crazy things. Hey I agree, I remember playing GTA for the first time, I laughed so hard...it wasn't even funny.

I just think they wore it out with Vice City, then San Andreas. To me they're basically add-on packs with a hefty price-tag. I'm not down with that. Take a game, make the city bigger, throw in new guns, new stories and plots and call it a new game? I don't really think it lives up to what it is now.

Not only that but the game is a living media icon, and I think Rockstar reconizes that as a advantage to their side, to market to everyone that "They're the game company that takes controversey to the extreme". To me thats good and bad, but gives a bad rap for some of the other manufacturers that simply want to make a great game, that well, is violent, but isn't designed to be on the news every night.

Grand Theft Auto 3 (For the newer generations) is like the new form of your friend having something you can't have. I remember it, parents wouldn't let their kids buy the game, so they go over to a friends that has it and plays it. It just created a "underground need" sort of appeal, and if you played the game you became immediatley cool.

The game itself, well, GTA3 I feel is a solid game and will go down in history, but Vice City and San Andreas is just to continue the hype and the need of under-age kids to play the game and create hype and what not. Its something that will certainly go down in our generation. But as a game itself....the other things make it overrated in my book.

Bleh...that was too long.

No that wasn't too long. you explained yourself pretty well and I give you credit for that. I understand your opinion a little more fully now and I'm sorry for criticizing you the way I did. But you pretty much summed up exactly what that game is and what the company really stands for. However, I still think it is a fun game. Like I said, whether the story sucks or not, the game itself is still entertaining.

LOL, Kyle- rant away. I mostly agree with you

1) iPods. Never had much interest in mp3 players until I started working out. I bought my wife an iRiver mp3 for Christmas last year, and started using it. Now I want an iRiver mp3 of my own. (compatability and price- it will do just fine for what I'm gonna use it for)

2) Hating the Yankees. One word- jealousy. They've never been my favorite team, never will be. But, I always kind of like them, and I have bookoo respect for the history, there.

3) Halo/Halo2. Loved them, but I'm a big FPS fan. Just me.

4) Hummers. They're just status, ergo I detest them. I also didn't like Miatas or new Bugs, either. Besides, they're so ugly they have to sneak up on the pumps to get a tank of gas. Again, just status symbols. Also known as Mall Terrain Vehicles.

5) Red Sox. Kind of like the Yankees- never been my favorite team, but I always have had respect for the history.

6) GTA games. Haven't played any of them yet, but they look somewhat interesting.

7) Troy, King Arthur, etc. Never saw any of those. I don't see a whole lot of movies- to much else to do.

8) Xbox/Xbox 360. I like my Xbox, don't have any great desire for a 360.

9) Myspace- no idea what it is. I've seen the term, but never pursued it.

10) expensive shoes- OK, I will pay a hundred bucks for boots, but never sneakers. I have a pair of outdoor boots that I paid 120 for, but that was also 15 years ago, and they're still in good shape, and still keep my feet very warm in the coldest weather. $100 would buy ANY two and most 3 pairs of sneakers I've owned.

I could really care less about what my feet look like. I got some 25 buck Avias (Yay for sales at Kohls) and oddly enough they lasted way better than the New Balence shoes I had before, they lasted twice as long. You people drive me nuts because you won't walk on grass or something dumb like that for fear you'll dirty up your shoes, and the point of them is to protect your feet from dirt and all of that stuff. It's nice that you're going for the "athletic style", but usually you would wear basketball shoes when you're playing basketball, not walking around the street doing nothing. I also know that the "style" really matters to you too, because when women meet a guy the first thing they look at is your feet

1) completely agree, i hate everyone with an ipod. i have a rio nitrus. it has 1.5 gb, could hold about 600 songs, just enough i need. oh yeah, and i bought it in an unopened box on ebay for $49.

2) disagree because i hate the yankees. i have hated the yankees ever since i moved to new jersey which was 8 years ago.

3) DISAGREE!!!!! halo1/2 are two of the greatest games ever to come out on the home console.

4) agree, i dont really care for hummers

5) i dont know. everyone here are yankees fans and hates the rod sox.

6) agree, i never really caught on to GTA although it is fun to run around shooting at civilians

7) disagree. although i never saw king arthur, i thought troy was great, on the same level as gladiator.

8) disagree. i have had my xbox since the absolute first day it came out and i have been extremely happy with it. although i most deffinatly wont be getting the 360.

9) agree, myspace is a waste of time

10) disagree. i play tons of basketball so i need some good basketball shoes. i have two pairs of shox but i pretty much only wear them to play basketball. my everyday shoes are the ever-so-popular new balence casual shoes with the big N on the side (i dont know what they are called)

1. Apple's iPod:
Definetely, I could easily find a cheap MP3 player at Wal*Mart for like $50 that isn't advertised like an iPod that is probably just as good.
-
2. Hating the Yankee's:
C'Mon, don't hate them because they have FANS that bring in a huge INCOME and can get GOOD PLAYERS.
-
3. Halo and Halo 2:
Well, they didn't 'revolutionize' game play, there have been games like that before, but they ARE great games. I love both, Halo 2 was AWESOME even though I beat it in a week.
-
4. Hummers:
Hot cars/SUVs, but gas guzzlers. -nuff said.
5. Boston Red Sox:
Come on, they win 1 championship in like 30 years or more, not sure how many, and they are great? Hmm....fighting for thier playoff lives and out in umm....3 GAMES against a team that lost thier last 9 playoff games before that!
-
6: Gran Theft Auto Games:
Well, they are a lot of fun, but why not name them like...Spree of Killing or Wheelin' and Dealin' err zuttem.

7:Troy, King Arthur, Etc.
All about the same stuff, Romans or Greeks err zuttem.
-
8. Xbox/Xbox 360:
Just buy a PS2. They have FANS and won't overheat. They have more games for everyone too! XBOX is a computer like said before! They burn up too! All thier games are either T or M anyway, PS2 has E, T, M, and Kids, and Gamecube is all E, t, and little kid games. PS2 has EVERYTHING. So what...you can play online with a headset, do it on the COMPUTER!
-
9. Myspace:
I have a myspace too, but I hate the things. They are easy ways of getting kidnapped. They are ridiculous, isn't a profile on AOL/AIM and a buddy list good enough, or the same thing?
-
10. Expensive Shoes:
C'mon. What is the point of buying $100s of dollars in shoes? Girls, tell me that. Ugs, and stuff. I have a sister, she just got 2 pairs of ugs or uggs, however you spell it. Spend your money on gas err zuttem. Not waste 'em shoes, because ANOTHER trend will just come out, and you'll go buy that cr@p.

^Since when are hummers "hot?" They've never appealed to me and they never will. They're ugly, grotesque creatures.
You knwo you have too much money when you can buy an H1, trash it, get an H2, trash it, and get an H3. I actually know someone who did that. Unsurprisingly, he's the most conceited thing I've ever come into contact with.
