| Veterans Day
As a 6 year Veteran of the U.S. Army (1995-2001, Fort Richardson, Alaska), I take great pride in having served my country. On this day I ask that we all give thanks to our soildiers of the past and present. I am certain that many, if not all of you know someone or have a family member that was or is currently serving our armed forces. Take a moment to say thanks, it means more than you think. Josh

A most definitite thank you to all of our vets out there. Your time, service, and sacrifice are very deeply appreciated. All to often we forget to thank those you give so much so that we can enjoy our simple freedoms- and who do the same to give those freedoms to other people who may not have had the chance to experience them before. Thanks again. On a side note, at least now I know why you don't have any hair Josh- you froze it all off up in Alaska! :P Going to miss you at the conferece this weekend.

Thanks for serving our contry and doing your part to keep us safe from a state like other countries in this world. I would like to say that my mom works in the Corp and that people do not respect our veterans like they should be. You put your life on the line when others wouldn't to keep all of us safe. I think becuase my mom works there is why I do have a great appreciation for our veterans and so would just like to say thanks to you and all our veterans who have served, whether you saw action or not is an honor.

I have one question that I hope can be answered and I don't want it taken the wrong way... Why do vets still have to work today, and the banks are closed? Now then, to my comment portion. My father served with the Marines in the 1960's. He never went over to battle. His sister's kids all went into the Navy. (logically they would be my cousins). Anyhow, the cousin closest in age to me is still in the Navy after 10 years. The middle one also enlisted in the Navy, waited for the discharge, did civillian life and now is back in the Army. He has been to Iraq. And the oldest...well, he did his time in the Navy too, not too sure where he is. I also have a coworker that was part of Camp Victory, and once he was discharged, he came back to work. Hence part of my reason for the question above. Being a serviceman is one thing I don't think I could do, but thanks to all that do.
