| | | It has been in the upper 70s and 80s all week in south Texas, which is still nothing unusual down here for this time of the year.
The cold front that just arrived sent the temps down into the mid-60s for highs; but it'll go right back up again after a couple of days.

| | | About 4-5 inches of snow around here today but the roads weren't bad at all. Kroger's parking lot was mainly thick slush, not bad at all, except it soaked my socks. |

Here in NE Ohio, we have the Wintry Mix crap. Temperature right now is 33 degrees on the Fahrenheit Scale.

| | Like the other Ontarians said, Southern Ontario got hit with a huge winter storm and is expected to get 25+cm overnight. I already shovelled the driveway once and almost broke my back.
Luckily my physics exam was still on. I'm now off for about 2 weeks

it looked like we were going to get our first snow - but like the other two 'ventures' this week, its only been rain/freezing rain
Please go north low pressure system! i'd really like to miss a test monday
It's in the lower 40s today and then going down into the lower-mid 20s tonight.

| | | Just to point out an interesting fact that may blow some of you away....
The warmest December high ever recorded in the nation was 96 degrees at McAllen, Texas on December 27, 1968; many other places in our area have seen 90-95 degrees in December. So even in December, it has gotten pretty hot here in south Texas.

| | | That cold front didn't move in. San Antonio broke record highs the first two days of the new year. Sunday the high was 83, the previous high was 79 in 1955 and on Monday the high was 86 the previous high was 80 in 2004. It's been like summer around here. People are watering their grass and all. You wouldn't normally water in the winter, but since it dry you have to. Plus, there has been a lot of wild fires throughout Northern Texas and Oklahoma. |
