Renting coasters

So, I am wanting to get some prices for renting out coasters, preferably Olympia Looping, and EuroStar. Anyone have any info on this?

They are owned by their own midway companies I believe.

I don't even think they "rent" out coasters to anyone. IF they did and that is a big IF, you need to have some deep pockets.

I know you can get Expidition Everest for around $44,000 for 3 hours. I worked some private events at Animal Kingdom and did some asking around and thats what i was told.

I wonder how state regulations would play in or how much weight there would be on that.

I don't even think the US would allow them to operate here anyway.

They have been in Germany exclusively and their laws are way different then ours.

Why rent when you can own.

Erm, I would rather own a warehouse full of old Carousels than a Vekoma BIG.

I'm just ok with a GIB. Let's get Deja Vu together with Laser and Big Dipper at the ACEr park we'll form at Geauga Lake.

Oh, I have deep pockets, that go to the floor.

I know they are owned by individual companies, but I was just wanting to see how much it would be for them to operate over here. And I think the max g-force on Olympia is 5.2, no? I believe that is within the American standard force ratings.

I don't know the G forces on Olympia, but I remember when I rode it in Germany, it was pretty intense. Especially when you go through the back to back loops, you really feel it. That was wayyyyyyyyyy back when my coaster count was about 30, so I surely wasn't prepared for those G Forces.lol

It's funny because your name is meant to represent one coaster, while in fact it IS the name of another one.

Anyway, I would buy a GIB if I could.

If your pockets go to the floor, why don't you just rent a whole park for a day. Enough room to throw a legit party that you won't have to clean up after.
