*WOOT!!* It is finally here! Summer Vacation is just around the corner!

This summer I'm going to go to 2nd Semester summer school, but after that I'm gonna be going to Utah to visit my grand parents. That's all I have planned for the summer.

How about you TN?

I've been on summer vacation for almost 2 months now...
I had the difficult decision of either going to summer school to get better grades and credits for a course a failed, or work a summer job so I can afford going back to school.

I took the summer job. So far nothing too exciting, went to Canada's Wonderland once for when I volunteered, and right now planning a weekend camping trip to do some tubing down a small rapid-like river, and a possible weekend trip to Hershey.

Work, hopefully at Barnes & Noble. Going to the black hills in a couple weeks for a week. Then, in July, I'm going to North Carolina for a mission trip with church. And in August I have All-State Camp for choir. That's it. Boring summer for the most part.

My Summer is basically going to be me working on RCT2 so I can get my park finished in time.

For the summer I'm doing my third co-op work semester, and in August my Dad and I are going to Cedar Point for a few days.

Yeah... more like across the US and i am allowed off the boat.

Summer Vacation is when you don't have school for about 2 months. unless you have summer school

I had my vacation the week before Memorial Day. I don't get another one until my scheduled vacation during Christmas.

Coastergeek, Katie is being sarcastic. When you have finished school and have to enter the real world, summer vacation goes from 2 months to 2 weeks or less. So choose your career wisely.

I only work weekends @ the hospital so I have quite a few jaunts planned for this year.

Holiday World, Mall Of America, Valley Fair, Steal your Dollar City, Six Flags-St Louis, WOF, and repeat trips to King's Island & Cedar Point.

Just kidding. I'll be interning in Dallas, preparing for the real world which is roughly 3 or 4 years away...a very bittersweet feeling.


Amen to that, I've only heard locals call it that (which I guess you are somewhat local). The park is way to expensive for the selection of rides, hopefully in the future it will live up to its real name.

Actually... what is a vacation? I haven't had one in well, I forgot.

Even in college, I still went to class, and I worked at two different amusement parks.

Everytime I ride a coaster, it valleys. I've never been on a stalled coaster or had one roll back (except Wicked Twister and what was Superman: Ultimate Escape, which does that by design).

My plans for the summer? Continue working my usual overnight/graveyard shift as I've been doing for years and sleep during the day.

Sounds like a dream vacation to me.

It's time to play some DEFENSE!

Well, Hopefully I can find a Summer job so I can earn money to buy a car and drive myself to work a KW next Summer. But I am going to Cooperstown for a week an OC Maryland for a week in a half. As for parks, KW about 3 more times, and CP, DP, and SFGAdv are still questionable.

Wait until you get older. "Summer Vacation" will consist of just more working to do. Now my summer WEEKENDS on the other hand, I plan to try to go to as many amusement parks as possible in the GA area. First stop SFoG of course and then later this summer Alabama Adventure and Hard Rock Park.
