I know this is solely the responsible of the carnival ride operators, but... I hate how people assume or think they can do normal tasks while under the influence of Marijuana. I personally know people that drive, work, and do activities (Like snowboarding) while high. Get a flippin' grip, its still a drug. I don't get flippin wasted then drive, or go to work... Rant Over.

I don't ride carnival rides anyway... they're lame. Plus, I would be critical of how they operated the ride anyway.

Wow- Carnies using drugs? You'd never know it by looking at them.

^ that is stereotyping. I guess in this case it works...

Perhaps it is, but if seeing someone with a pot leaf tattooed on their neck and thinking they use drugs qualifies as stereotyping, then I plead guilty.

Expecting Carnival workers to not do drugs and alcohol is expecting too much of them. When you take the 'train' at the CNE (or any large ride) you can usually see where the traveling workers stay, and the place is usually littered with packs of beer.

Not really shocking. I figured things like this went on and sometimes worse which is why i have not been to a carnival in about 10 years and don't ever plan on going anytime soon.

I know there are some great companies out there that run carnivals, but some of this just baffles the mind that these people don't care about anyone else but themselves and to get high or drunk. It's ridiculous that the owners of these companies let them get away with it, especially when they probably do the same things themselves. It only takes one bad apple to mess it up for the rest of the good companies.
