If Netherworld is the #3 scariest in the country, then it is a sad state of affairs we live in. 3 years in a row, and Netherworld hasn't scared me one bit.

I have never been to Netherworld so I'll make a stop on my way down to Orlando even though it's out of the way but with all they hype this place gets i personally want to see whats up.

With this haunt being in the top 3 in the country as long as i can remeber i try not to expect much. I learned my lesson last year with HHN which was 100% worse then i was expecting it to be after the 2006 event.

Seriously, do not waste your time. There is an hour long line, only to walk through a huge building single file with about 100 people all crowded around you. They do not take you in small groups, so you look ahead and go, "oh, that ghoul/goblin/ass jumped out at that girl."

It's awful.

I would most likely skip it but i won some free tickets through their Myspace contest so atleast i won't have to pay to get in.

I really do hate hauntes that just flood people through instead of going in groups.
I didn't know Neatherworld did the same. Thanks for the heads up on that.

I'll still go just to see for myself. I'm going with some one who works in that busniess so i'd feel bad about backing out since she's already in that area training people at SFoG's Fright Fest.

Well, perhaps if you go on a week night, it won't be the same effect. The good news is, is that there's three different houses there. The Netherworld main house always stays the same, and isn't very scary. Once again, too many people. BUT, down the hill there is another one that has changed all 3 years. The first year it was this slaughterhouse theme, where you had to crawl through spaces and there was like, meat grinders and bodies everywhere and guys with surgeon masks chased you with chainsaws. Then last year it was more of a haunted forest type deal. Then the third one is a 3-D haunted house, where you wear glasses, and everything is painted 3-D, and people wear 3-d paint on them and what not.

Maybe it's because I've been there too much...

To me, the scariest part is the people dressed up walking the lines. They will calmy walk around and kinda LASH OUT at random people. Also, they hung a dummy in a random porta potty that my friend went in, and it jumped out when the door opened up and scared the hell out of him.

We're going on a Friday night so will it still be super busy then? I would assume it would but maybe slower than a Sat.

Woods of Terror did the same thing with a few of the porta pottys outside their que line. It was funny.

But yeah this will be my first time so i'll post a huge Photo TR once i return. After Netherworld I'm going to HHN, Howl-O-Scream & Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. I'll also be attending the Panthers game while i'm in Tmapa. I picked the perfect weekend to go to Florida.

This will also be my first trip to Howl-O-Scream.

The ratings are based on more then scare factor. Actors, animatronics, themeing, are also taken into account. This is voted upon by the site and site members
