Not sure how many of the old crew are still around, but I figured I should make a post to say hi and tell people that my wife and I had our first child, a daughter named Danielle Nichole, on April 24th. She's a cutie.

Parenting is an exhausting task that wears my wife and I both out. I have a new and greater appreciation for single parents seeing how tough it is with the two of us. I can't even imagine.

So remember kids, cross your legs, not your fingers!

Or at the very least, don't be a fool, wrap your tool!

The parenting thing is way tough. Has she started sleeping through the night yet? Word of advice if you want that to happen if it hasn't yet. One or two teaspoons of rice cereal and it will fill up the belly and let her sleep longer!

Everytime I ride a coaster, it valleys. I've never been on a stalled coaster or had one roll back (except Wicked Twister and what was Superman: Ultimate Escape, which does that by design).

She's not sleeping though the night yet, but it's getting closer. We're giving her til she's 10 weeks old, then perhaps that little trick will be employed.

She was 9lbs 6oz. She's now over 12 lbs and is just shy of 6 weeks old. She's at something like the 97th percentile for weight and 90th for height. She's a big girl.

Nope, just that I can't imagine trying to do this at a young age. It's life changing and I'm friggin 30!

Not that I am a parent yet, or if I'll ever be one, but I have to agree that it is a far harder job than many people realize, not just the time and effort, but the heart, dedication, and protection to pledge to the child.
