I am participating in the Cedar Point Coasting for Kids 2009 Ride-a-thon on Wednesday, August 26, 2009. I will be learning what kind of stomach I have by riding on Gemini for TEN HOURS! This ride-a-thon is a fun way to share enthusiasm for the world of coasters as well as the spirit of fun that surrounds the children of Give Kids The World Village.

Give Kids The World Village is a non-profit resort for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. Your pledge will help provide these special families with a cost-free magical vacation. Each year over 6,500 children from all 50 states and around the world experience the Village. With your support, we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.

I believe there are still about forty out of sixty seats still open if you are interested in participating. Our goal is to fill two trains and raise several thousand dollars. There are prizes for the person who raises the most money including four tickets to Cedar Point and a VIP tour worth $1500!
