| ThrillNetwork: A step back in time.
Don't ask me how I found this, but there is a site that archived websites. It even archived Thrillnetwork. Maybe some of you have already seen this, but for those who haven't, here it is. Internet Archive Wayback Machine |

I tried to log in from that archive to see what would haapen. You can't do it. I looked through the year 2007. I'm surprised that I remembered most of that stuff. Good times.

Nope... you can't log in via the archive .I'm very familiar with what's contained within the archives. Actually what kinda ticked me off is how the Wayback machine didn't capture anything before 2002. The reason being is that search robots were accidentally blocked. Here's some screencaps that I've managed to grab for a blog during the TNv4 redesign stages... Quick brown foxes and Farts - ThrillNetwork Boards Also, for your enjoyment pleasure... when the forums were on a separate domain (they didn't become part of TN.com until 2002). Internet Archive Wayback Machine I wish I could go further than that (say about May, 2001, when the forums themselves started under the old thrillride.com). Again, I found bad search robot exclusion.

Is that because you don't know, or because it's so top-secret and complicated that it's beyond our realm of understanding?

I really wish there was some of the 2001 stuff on here. The thing I would really like to see again are the cheesy avatars that were used during the early days of the site before they switched to the coaster track style. Even cooler would be the original Thrillride Forums layout which was a different message board system entirely.

I can only get the main menu when I click on lets say construction, I get nothing and when I click on 2006 all I get is "catch you later"...

go_me: I don't know. GSF: I have copies of most of the original TR! avatar cards. You also can't go 1-2 pages deep within the archive... it's not the entire site.
