It is very cartooney compared to RCT's seriousness. It alows you to ride your coasters in 1st person but there is not as much variety in coasters as there is in RCT, but you can make the rides more custom then RCT could ever. If you could find it for around $20 it is worth it. Don't forget there is the new Sim-Coaster which I have not tried. It is said to have more roller coasters then Sim-Themepark but I don't really know about it.

It is a neat game, completely independent of RCT, but it runs too slow and gets really annoying. I would stick with RCT and use all the expansion packs and trainers to really build on it.

My advice: DO NOT BUY THE GAME

Nope. Dont buy it. RCT is much better.

Personally, I would say not to buy it. It's not worth it. RCT is better with one exception, SimThemePark lets you walk around in the park and ride the rides.
