Has anyone ever played Sim Coaster??

I have SimCoaster. I haven't played it too much recently, only because I have gotten so involved in other things right now. But yes, I would recommend it. It is a very fun game, but is not nearly as realistic as RCT, though I really don't think it was meant to be. Even still, you can ride ANY of the rides - even the flat rides. It is all very cartoonish, but what I find so enjoyable about the game is how involved you get in running the park. You control SO MUCH - right down to the amount of salt on your fries!! You can give your employees breaks and send them to lunch, or training, etc... It is more of a management-type game, but you still can build whatever kind of rides and coasters you design. You can even upgrade existing rides to add certain features to them. Don't think about getting it to build your dream park, though. It isn't set up that way, even though you can build your rides wherever you want. It's just that it is too cartoonish, and doesn't look realistic.
