What does the HR patch do exactly?

I havn't played HR in ages due in part to the game crashing nearly every time I try to design a new ride.

it allows you to make more precise banking by not typing the number in, and fixes a few bugs

Thanks for the info although when designing banked curves I usually just eyeball it as I'm shaping the track.

Is the official HR site even up anymore? last time I checked a few months ago it appeared to be gone.

They probably stopped working on it because no one had the game. I bought it, but there was way too many problems with it for me to actually try and learn how to use it.
