I've seen on several Real Park Recreations (there was a SFOT one and at least one other ...) where you have a complete-circuit track with no stations but it still has cars on it. For example, the SFOT one I saw was trying to re-create a "Swing" ride and had a circle of Suspended Single Rail track with no station and about 10 or so swinging cars running around it. (I'll see if I can get a screen-shot of what I'm talking about, if you don't have a clue what I mean ...) Is there a trainer that allows you to do this, or does it involve hacking the track file/saved game? (I realize no one would be able to ride it, but I'm looking for aesthetics right now, not actual ride-ability ... (is that a real word?) Anyway ...) Thanks!

OK, I think I'm on drugs ... I couldn't find the park re-creation I was talking about. All of the ones I saw did in fact have a station, an entrance, and an exit (though they used a trainer to give the ride a lot more cars than would normally be supported with a single station piece.) I don't know if what I'm talking about is possible or not. If it is, then please let me know. If not, then never mind. Sorry ...

This is possible, I've seen it before, but it is probably VERY hard to do. It requires SERIOUS hacking, and I know that I would never be able to figure it out (I'm not so good with trainers). I first saw this on a park called Gobon City by Dan S (a Danimation Member). I can post that park so you can see it if you want me to.

If anyone wants to know how to do it and needs instructions, just ask and I'll post them. Here Ya Go...... Last edited by Butterfinger; 05-24-2002 at 10:36 PM. |
