The cat park has been cancelled here is my new park.
July/16/03:
Horizons Parks Owner, Chris Smith(rctfan1556) just annouced there new park called Emerald Isle. it is a 50 Acre(50x50) park. This new park will be right next to Mystic Horizons, which was just completed and will be opening soon.

Both parks sit a on some land Six Flags Great America was gonna put in a waterpark on but never did and sold the land to Horizons Parks 4 1/2 months ago.

This will make the 3rd park in Gurnee,IL and will compete with other parks all over the world, including SFGAM,Cyribean Myst Resort, WB Amazing Experince, Secret Advetnures and others. The rides and attractions and theme(s) for this park are still yet to be decided as they are currently on the Drawing Board.

But here is a photo our Photographer took today of the entrance(out of character: Note: i am still in the editor , but i will start building rides and stuff like that when i get out of the editor.)



Update! ok here is my entrace and entrance plaza(sry bout the small entrace plaza, it is a mini park) . oh sry bout that stupid entrace gate, but the game requires there to be one <_< . after this i will be out of the editor and the rides will begin! :lol:

The design of the staion was just changed, except for the box part. here is an
Pic of the layout and Station. and one of just the station. Oh and this woodie's name is The Emerald Rush. the rest of the theming on TER is still under construction. Out Of Character: oh and yes there is a little bit of rct 1 style in there, i just like to do build stuff like that in rct 2.

I don't like how EVERY single roof has a stripe. Vary it up a bit.

Color scheme and architecture is enchanting, keep it up. Zoom in on the woodie so that we can get a better look.

I don't know that I like the wooden walls and then the gray fences in the station, but other than that, I like it. I would maybe think of making the center portion of the station roof at the top, taller and putting windows in it. It might give in an airier feel than the mountain it sort of resembles now.

Long time no post,lol.
i put in a vertical drop coaster, but wait till you all see it themed. remember BchillerR's
Destitaion:Xtreme park and his VD coaster called Big Air? remember how it dive in, under and over buildings and went under ground to? well i am gonna go for the same idea, but my own archy and coaster design/layout and so forth, of course . but you'll like it trust me, cause i am gonna try to spend alot of time with this coaster considering when i am done theming it, my park will be done and i am adding landscape like hills and such. here is a screen of my layout and station right now, keep in mind though i may change the station seeing as i am not to happy with it at the moment .

The rides look pretty good and the archy looks fantastic so far. What are the ratings for that last coaster?

Looks good, but I don't know about those custom supports.

yeah, if you use custom supports, make sure that the normal supports arent showing. and i dont really like the look of those hills. that big one right in the middle mainly i dont like. it should go from steep then to one piece of the 30* and then to 0* and then back. you shouldnt use more than one piece of the 30* hill

well, you probably read my post at NE. But i can't emphasize enough that you should bank those two downward curves though!

In my opinion, I'd get rid of the custom support all together, but at the very least, try to eliminate the natural supports. And yes, bank the downward curves, as coasterkid suggested.

wow, this park really changed from the screens you posted. i love thos helixes on the woodie. the dive machine looks much better than how it did in the screens. the overall park looks very nice and it seems like it has annice atmosphere.

Welcome To Emerald Isle
This park is located in Gurnee,IL USA about 5min down away from our last park Mystic Horizons. Both parks sit on a piece of land bought by us Horizons Parks 1 year ago. Emerald Isle will join many parks from all over , like Six Flags Great America, Mystic Horizons Cedar Point, WB Spring Resort those are just to name a few parks that it will be joining in the chain of amusement parks from all over the world. On to the park.

The Park: The park starts out at a wonderful entrance with music coming from inside the building but enhanced with speakers that guests can't see.(out of character:not really of course) then the entrance plaza has 2 guest relations buildings one with info and park maps the other with info and a gifts.

From here you can get on the Emerald Isle monorail and take it aorund the park or just to the 2nd station. From here you can go to one of our parks unique rides enclosed bumper cars called Dark Cars. But we recommend you go to one of our coaster first.

The first one, which is hard to miss is our Wooden coaster Emerald Rush. which was inspired by ROAR. This coaster is 105 feet tall and sure to make you come back for more. also twisted designs(mike(skater freakboi on ACN)) helped with the building of this massive woody!

Or go to to our coaster Emerald Run that stands 65ft tall and has a vertical drop that goes into the ground and amazing 20feet! making it 85 feet tall! then from there it starts its adventure through the park going by, under,over and even through buildings! there is never a dull moment on this coaster!

After that visit one of our many flat rides like Crazy Drop that is 90ft tall and has you spining the whole way up then hangs there spining the DROPS! or if you wanna get wet go on raging river which goes in a mini forest through dome rapids the finish the ride underground going through rapids and whirlpools.

After walking around riding rides you'll probably get hungry so visit The Emerald Isle Cafe! a small outdoor cafewith really good food and just outside are restrooms and 2 gift shops! But emergancy can happen though we try to keep that from happining to best of our abilties but if it does vist one our first aid stations.

Well that it come visit Emerald Isle you'll sure to have a fun time!
