this is my first RCT3 park. I have previously used rct 2..
it will use soaked, im not sure about it using wild yet...

One of the only parks that has yet to feature theme parks, Fox Studios has jumped the bandwagon to begin a new morphed brand of park. Featuring quality of Universal and Disney matched with thrills of Six Flags and Paramount, Fox Studios is made for families. Teens will enjoy the thrillzones and children will enjoy the Sandlot™ themed area.

You enter the park into the first themed area. 34th Street Chicago awaits. Christmas time beckons snow and the Miracle on 34th street parade. Other times have different themes. Restaurants, Shops, Guest Services are among the different venues hidden within the replica skyscrapers. Most prominent is the Fox Tower, with an observation deck. This 450 foot tower is themed with Chicago in mind, and offers plenty of views of the surround

Construction Update #1
The area has been fenced off and all planning has concluded. The gateways and entry area are being built. 34th Street is completed all the way to the Fox Tower. The Fox Tower and elevators are completed, as is Guest Services and Uno Pizza.

haha.. that might fit in the waterpark area

the area that im working on, (34th street chicago..) will not have a coaster..but the backlot area (which is next up), will have a nice themed coaster.. im thinking IJST style..but of course, a fox movie..

i plan on the park having: A wooden coaster, a b&m invert, a b&m hyper, an compact arrow [or that ijst idea instead of the corkscrew coaster], a spinning wild mouse, a junior woodie, a junior steel, and possibly a vekoma flying coaster.. [8 coasters] but i still haven't decided

there will also be a waterpark with many differing themes (titanic for one.. coproduced w/ paramount).. maybe the oc??..

i have schoolwork this week, and the Harvard Debate tournament next weekend, so it may be awhile before the next update...

Update Feb. 22, 2006

Today brings exciting news. The park has released a press release detailing the first coaster and first thrill for the park- and it is HUGE!! Nemesis, Black Mamba, and Top Gun combine into a tight, ground hugging B&M Terrain Invert. Going in and out of a valley, flying around mountains, and dodging waterfalls, this inversion-packed coaster costs an astounding 12 million dollars and is only about 105 feet high!!

Looks good, but I'd suggest redoing the terrian. Some parts are blocky, and the hill seems to be in the middle of no where.

^ yeah im sort of adding terrain as i go.. the first pic is really blocky (the one from above) but the ohter pic shows the improvement w/ the waterfall... there's no blockiness now.. and i've added some more behind it.. plus a flat ride

that area is going to carry a jungle theme.. i should have another update this weekend..

Looks awesome, Very nice Invert. I love the two drop idea.

I'm not a big fan of the invert. The drop isn't realistic after the zero-g roll. All B&M inverts have a drop that curves. Maybe you could have it drop 90* right off the bat, roll, then drop another 90* and end up nearly where you were before. You could even have the second part of the drop underground. That would be completely awesome.

Fox Studios completes construction of the anchor ride "Predator"
Today the new park advertised its first coaster, a Bollinger and Mabillard custom Inverted Coaster, called Predator, based off the hit movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The coaster is tight and compact, yet utilizes its terrain well. It begins with a predrop zero G roll before completing a variety of inversions and ground hugging acrobatics. Its unique to any other B&M inverted coaster because of its unique elements, placement, and drop style. "this is the most out of the box invert since Great Bear when it comes to the first drop." Besides Black Mamba, built this year, this invert will be the most unique created by Bollinger and Mabillard to this day.

The New Amazon-themed section
Already featuring a scrambler (still unnamed) and Predator, the new zone will be home to a famed "Rainforest Cafe," several rides, and a few shops. The area will be heavily forested and terrained with including a small river.

Construction of the Predator Station and Queue continue, while the Scrambler is complete and requires testing:

The invert station is reminiscient of an old Amazon civilization. Construction continues on the large station which will include an office, queueing area, and underground storage and mechanics center.

Predator has gained trees and a softer landscape, and theming will soon pop up. Predator will be themed to an old, lost, Amazon civilization located in a Jungle valley.
