Well, here is my latest park, Halcyon Gardens. Since I just started, there are no rides yet, but there should be within 2 updates. Anyway, here are the pics so far. http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/4777/shot00423kq.jpg Heres' the entrance. http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/2493/shot00434nw.jpg Here's the entrance again, but as if you were attending the park's construction. http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/8743/shot00443ud.jpg This is the inside of the entrance. Some flowers were placed along the walls. http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/5525/shot00452py.jpg Here is the food place. It sevres Chicken, Philly Cheese Steaks and pizza. But I have no idea what to name it, so PLEASE leave suggestions. http://img62.imageshack.us/img62/2825/shot00463db.jpg Here is the back of the currently un named food place thingy. PS: Requires Soaked! and Wild! Klinn's Framework was the custom scenery used. I will pst a link for download when I have completed the park. |

Hey thanks alot guys. This was a real improvement from Six Flags Cedar Lake. I made a Scrambler ride, but I'll post pics when I have a coouple more rides in. EDIT: I changed my mind. I decided to get some more input on every single ride and building as I make them, since I want this park to be as best looking as possible. http://img113.imageshack.us/img113/6084/shot00425ca.jpg Here is Twister, the covered Scrambler. Although I ran out of names, IMO it is fitting. http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/5139/shot00430zp.jpg Here is the ride as if you were standing at the exit. http://img124.imageshack.us/img124/290/shot00445bt.jpg The ceiling is about 13 ft off the ground (4 of those 1/3 height walls, or just high enough to fully cover the ride). Do you think it needs to be higher? Last edited by Tanks4me05; 02-25-2006 at 10:34 AM. |

Sorry for the double post, but here's an update! Two new rides, a covered Merry - Go - Round, called Grande Carousel, and a Vekoma Corkscrew, called Scream Machine. http://img103.imageshack.us/img103/8903/shot00445pl.jpg Here is Grande Carousel. http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/1599/shot00474rs.jpg Here is the overview of Scream Machine. I know it is short, but IMO it fits the park well. http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/2599/shot00482mz.jpg Looking up at the second Corkscrew from the queue line. http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/9402/shot00496nj.jpg Here is a view of the station. That glacc pane blocking the way has been removed, but I was too lazy to take another screenshot. http://img48.imageshack.us/img48/1830/shot00509do.jpg Here's the lift. As it was my first time using custom supports, I think I did a good job at recreating an Arrow "lift support", although it' a Vekoma Style layout. |

Yeah, IMO SM is a great ride. Oh, because I felt it would take away from the distinct feel of Halcyon Gardens, the park will remain flat. However, I will try my best to keep up the current quality of scenery to make up for it.

Good job on the rides so far. I'd recomend saving structures in the building editor like the ones you have for the carousel & scrambler so you don't have to rebuild them each time & flatland maps are definitely much easier to create & work with as you can always shape the terrain during ride construction, that's how I usually do it myself. |

Nice job, but I would reccomend you put a brake run in on SM to make it more realistic.

^Nah, to be honest, I was looking for more of a Knoebels Whirlwind but longer style. But it really was based on this Corkscrew coaster from RCT2 I saw a long time ago on rcttown. I will not edit the terrain later. This is flat and will stay flat. Not many of my other parks will have a terrain either, since with Six Flags Cedar Lake, I terrained the place, and the building was all screwed up. Go figure.

all i can say is ouch lol look at that turn after the corkscrew.. i know rct won't let you smoothen that.. but my nl insticts are kicking in i like the feel for the buildings.. can't wait to see more

^ i know... i acknowledged that......everytime i ride my coasters in rct, i want to be able to smoothen the banking and turns.. but hey- you can only ask for so much in a game it would be cool to be able to import NL files into rct... now that would be awesome

^Yeah, but then Galaxi Coaster recreations would be unable to open (sigh, I hate those automatic tunnel testing RCT games have, now I can't recreate Sylvan Beach)

Ok, I know, a double post, but it's been 3.5 months, but no one seems to reply in this thread, and I REALLY need input. Anyways, I am currently at nearly 2 dozen rides, and I have made several restaurants. Now that I have figured out how to download all the other custom scenery, I am getting much better. I have made many small improvements all over the place, to put in as much detail as possible. I currently have about 8 coasters, and they are: -1: Scream Machine - a short Vekoma Corkscrew -2: Wild Mouse - a Custom Togo Wild Mouse (no inversions) -3: Tornado - a Gravity Group Out and Back Twister (the name may be Twister, but since I have a Top Spin named Twister and this named Tornado, it gets confusing) -4: Tiny Twister - A custom Tivoli Small -5: Infinity - a B&M Hyper Coaster, featuring a vertical drop of well over 200 feet -6: Warhammer - a Custom B&M Flying Coaster, featuring a JoJo Roll at the beginning, and one of my signature element, the Bull Horn Turn. -7: Falcon - A compact B&M Stand Up somewhat resembling Georgia Scorcher, featuring a Cutback (I use more Cutbacks than Corkscrews, I believe they need more attention) -8: Frequent Faller - An Interactive Rides Frequent Faller - a Mirror Image, slightly larger version than the one that WAS going to be at Hersheypark. All coasters have custom supports, and nearly every single major Flat Ride and Coaster has a logo to it. Anyways, I want to have your opinion on the surrounding scenery of Falcon. I also have an improved version of the entrance area to compare it to: http://img125.imageshack.us/img125/6...ntrance5ur.jpg Here's the new entrance http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/7...ntrance2dx.jpg Here's Falcon's Queue line, Entrance, Transfer Track, etc. Please give me input on Falcon! http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/9...nterior2aa.jpg Now for a couple of teasers - Here's the interior of one of my restaurants, you should look around the entire restaurant in the finished version to see all the detail. http://img212.imageshack.us/img212/9...yteaser9zb.jpg Here's a pic of Infinity, while I was walking out the restaurant and jumping about 30 feet in the air. |
