Starting a new RCT2 park!




Here are two small screens of some progress I have so far-








I will keep this thread updated as soon as I build new attractions, then it will be uploaded in the Speedzone. Hope you like!

Looks nice so far, I like the station design on the woodie.

What expansions & or custom scenery are you using?I've only got time twister running on my system as Wacky worlds is simply no longer available to purchase & no custom scenery just a few custom flats.

I am not using any, so everyone will be able to download.

I think I did purchase Wacky Worlds, but deleted it off my computer not long after because I didn't like it at all...so I just use custom scenery from other parks that I've downloaded.

After what happened with RCT3 I want to avoid custom scenery at all costs,I tried following the recommendations to removed soaked & got it off,then go to reinstall vanilla & get nothing but a black screen at startup so I'm stuck playing 2 on this system.I'll try again though because I didn't delete the folders for parks,campains fireworks etc. during the uninstallation so perhaps that's the problem,although it should've done that automatically.

Looks pretty cool bk! I like the station of the woodie. How do you get custom scenery, by the way? See, I'm pretty bad with that...I just pack in the coasters, but I wanna build a BGE-esque park.

^You have to download it<in a zip file> then install it to the object data folder & it should appear in the scenery list,same thing with custom RCT2 flats such as the collection on Amazing Earl's site.

It's about time you did another park. Looks very nice so far.

Really? I downloaded about 80 megabytes worth of custom scenery, and they all work fine. (I have Soaked! and Wild!) But to comment on Camline Park, this looks pretty nice, the woodie looks awesome, but I don't have RCT2 anymore.

And people wonder why I never submit parks...just coasters

I guess this means I need to work on some coaster creations...

I just downloaded other parks that had the custom scenery in them and it installed automatically. There is a lot of stuff out there!

Another small update shows two new rides:

And a smaller family style roller coaster, though I don't know if I will keep it. The outcome wasn't really what I had in mind. We will see if it sticks though-

I believe the problem was with the installation process of the custom scenery that must've corrupted the game,I had no problem with installing steel worx supports because it uses an auto exe installer but the mainstreet one,two & three packs as well as expo3000 pack had to be installed manually so I must've installed those improperly.

I've since removed everything & deleted the folders but havn't tried to reinstall yet<for a third time> but the registry keys still appear to be on there & I'm not entirely sure on how to remove those safely without corrupting windows...if you mess with the registry & delete the wrong file or registry key then you can really mess things up.

Another other problem I just thought of concerns reinstalling saved games that I moved to a different folder<my rct2 downlods folder> since they're sandbox parks & whenever new scenery is installed & used in a new park it copies over to the ones already saved so even if I can get it working again odds are I won't be able to run those saved parks & they were fairly decent ones too.

Excluding today, I haven't worked on the park for about two weeks...but RCT2 found my way and got a good two hours in ealier. It was fun and I felt creative. Added a few flats and a family coaster. Here are three screens for your eyes.

thats awesome. I could never build on rocky terrains in RCT2. Whenever I create parks, they are always perfect squares and flat land.

Is that a green suspended coaster i see in the background...
