A Triple Racer

Hey everyone,

Amongst my busy schedule, I decided to try to create a park called Dark Adventures with the theme basically revolving around knights, and kings, and castles and all that good jazz. Well, while I was thinking because my brain was going ninety miles-an-hour...I came up with a concept for a triple wooden racer. It is still in the design phase since I need to slow things down a hair and all that, and unfortunately, the design part of the game wont allow me to synch the stations since they are not "technically" touching (too bad, it was otherwise an awesome ides).

But I was wondering....has anyone else every created such a ride as what I am calling a triple racer? Even if that small synchronizing thing didnt work out quite as planned? Just something I was curious to know if anyone else had come up with.

I have never posted in this forum, so if I write something that isn't made clear by my explinations, please write me and I'll try to do better.

In the "real world" there were steeplechase rides. These were 2, 3, 4, or 6 track racers - horses that one or two people rode - and they all raced. Of course, these wern't wooden, but the idea is kinda the same.

I have created a "triple" racing rollercoaster. They are a lot harder because of the sheir size and land that you need to have...and they can be a pain if not built properly.

So that's why I just stick with a one version coaster...occasionally a racer for fun. And rarely duelings.

I've ton tons of triple deuling "supermans" (SFMM).

Build 3 staations next to eachother just like a racer or deuler. Then make the middel station 1 or 2 blocks longer.

It really works and if you want, I can post pics if you do not understand...

I got bored and made one after reading this thread....

Here you go...

It actually came out really well. Its paced very well, and has a good mixture of airtime and laterals. Also the 6 train cross over section was just coincidence. Not planned at all.

I remember that. It was amazing because Chris Sawyer did it...and with him making the came can make perfect racing coasters. They did so much and went apart and came back togather. Wish I could make one that good.

I have made a 4-track racing coaster once, but it was not wooden.

I have also made a 3-track racing shuttle coaster of type Corkscrew coaster (it was in RCT 1 where you had booster elements) which only used a very small amount of land but had a very high capacity.
