It may not have anything to do with your computer, the game just lags when you have big parks and lots of peeps. It's a common problem with most computers that RCT3 will drastically slow down when you have a big park. If you want to pay lots of money to upgrade your computer so the game runs more smoothly, go ahead, but I personaly don't think it's worth it. |

Ouch your computer is quite old there, but the video card is sort of setting you behind the most. I'm quite experienced and knowledgable about computer parts, and I can help. Aside from the video card you may also want to consider upgrading your RAM from 512 to 1GB. Its quite cheap at about 60 dollars or so (Get it online, its cheaper there) and will make a dramatic difference. Your CPU is quite old, so your PC is starting to wear out in age. Maybe think about purchasing a new computer down the road. Before I can answer your questions, I need you to answer the following: What interface type do you have: AGP or PCI (Most likely AGP) How much money you are willing to spend. How you would prefer to buy it? (Online, in store etc.) I'll be more than happy to help out, you did a good job helping in advance by posting the DirectX stuff, so good job on that...but just get back to me and I can help you out.

But I would certainly upgrade your RAM, it'll make your PC far more tolerable for a few years or so to come. Any other questions?

It's installed should I take it back. I cost $99.99. I'm buy a 1 gb. for the pc too. I found a sign on web: 4allmemory.com. for $124.00. Since I have the video card in it does show very slight lag, but 90% better than before with more clarity of visuals 3D. Let me know what u think.

$99 isn't half bad for 1Gb of RAM, just make Sure that it can handle that much, check the test from http://www.crucialmemory.com/
