Time Warp: A RCT3 Theme Park

Hey! Well, I've had RCT3 for quite awhile now, and i'm just now deciding to creat a park. The theme of this park is themed around certain time periods, hence the name. My first section was a Prehistoric Section. Then, i went on to creat a Futuristic/Space section, called Space Command. And just this evening, i opened my third section, Foggy Mountain. It's themed like Timber Canyon at DW to an extent. Every section contains at least one roller coaster. In the prehistoric section (I've yet to name this section, if anyone has any suggestions, let me know!) I have a trister stand up coaster called Conquest Of Paradise. The coaster in Space Command is called Mars: The Bringe Of War, and is a stormrunner launch coaster. And finally, Foggy Mountain contains a huge wooden coaster called Foggy Mountain Breakdown. Also with in the foggy confines of Foggy Mountain is a smaller Wooden Wild Mine coaster called Foggy Mountain Mine, which is flanked by a mine shaft ride ride call Foggy Mountain Mine: The Lost Shaft.

I am currently trying to get some shots of the park up, however, when i try to add some, it says that they are invalid files. If anyone can help to get them up, please do so!!!

I am also taking suggestions upon what my next section should be, or just a comment, please tell me! And as I've said, i will try to get SS's up ASAP!!!

You could a section from the 60s. Just a suggestion. Sounds like a cool park so far! Theming sounds amazing, I'm glad you're including lots of coasters as well.

Thanks! I probally will go 60's. I might do a 50's-70's section all in one. The central hub of the park will be a State Fair type section, kinda like an old fashion state fair....

I've figured out a way that if you all HAVE TO see the pictures befor i can get them up. Add me to yahoo (Music_Or_Death_2006@yahoo.com) and i'll photo share them with you! Feel free to do that if you wish!

^ That sounds like a good idea (the 50s-70s). Can't wait to see this park. Does anyone know why his pictures come up as 'invalid'? I've never tried to put any pictures on a thread so I have no clue.

Wish I could help you with your pics, but I had the same problem with my RCT2 park. As for the prehistoric section name. How about something like Dino Age or The Land Before Time. AS for a new section. maybe a halloween or spooky section. Also a medieval section.

Sounds like you need to save the pic into jpeg to upload them.

Whatever format you save them in initially, try going into MS Paint and change the format to JPEG.

No! Not the all evil JPEG. That's only good for photos. Use .png - its lossless and smaller.

How do i change what they are?

Thanks, i'm not sure which direction to head in as of right now. As i've said, i was thinking about doing as 60's/70's section. Remember this is a park themed around time periods, even though i'm considering dropping that idea and just going all out. Some where or another i've got to add a "Eruo-Fighter" Coaster. Maybe to the next section, which if it's the, we'll say "Oldies" section, i could call it Thunder Road. And make it something like a car chase.

If you haven't noticed, i've been naming my rides after songs. Mars: The Bringe Of War it's the back ground song, it's just really quite in the begining, but give it a few seconds..... And then Conquest of Paradise, . And then The Foggy Mountain Breakdown, .

^ Interesting songs. Keep the time periods, I think that's a creative idea, it is something that hasn't been used yet.

PRESS RELEASE:
Foggy Mountain may have been thought to be nothing but a ghost town years after the residents up and moved away. However, if you look through the fog of this old mountain town and you may be surprised. Sight seers coming to the mountain may notice that all the trees that once covered the land for as far as the eye could see, have now been all chopped down, and in their place now stands a 220ft tall wooden marvel. Foggy Mountain Breakdown, Foggy Mountain’s premier wooden coaster will take those that dare to ride on a 24,000ft twisted journey through the fog that still fills these hills. Rides will begin by traveling up 220ft into the sky, when suddenly, the train plummets over the edge into a tight 180* turn, leading to a twisted S-turn. Also, watch out for the escaped bandits in the station on this wooden marvel, they may be armed and dangerous!!!
Sight seers may also remember the Foggy Mountain Mining Company. Years later, this mine is in total, disarray. The rails of this mine have been twisted and turned to the point of near breaking. However, this doesn’t stop the most daring of all thrill seekers who still come flocking to ride in one of the old mine cars. Also, the mine shaft that once carried miners to the dark pits of the mine has been restored and open for business, just be careful it doesn’t take you on a stomach churning free-fall to no where!
Some of the old mountain folk have opened some smaller rides in hopes of making an extra penny or two. These rides include a Buffalo Round-Up Ride, where the young’uns can come and attempt to help local lasso-man Larry lasso all the loose Buffalo. Kids of all sizes will enjoy Dueling Banjos, which takes the Farris Wheel concept to the next level! Hop in any of the four Farris Wheel’s, sit back, and listen to the music while you are taken on a new sensation known as the Double Sky Wheel! For those young’uns that may be to short for the coasters, but still want a thrill, the TNT Vortex is for ‘uns! Not only does this ride spin, but before you know it, your swinging back and forwards as well! Also, when ‘uns get tired of the fog, or just need to rest your feet, come and watch the award winning Shoot Out, a show with some old western flare thrown into the mix!
Can you say, YEE-HAW!?! Well, even if you can’t, you will be once you hop on the Pony Express! Hop on any of the seven horses, and go for a foggy ride delivering mail to the mountain folk! This ride is for the whole family, form them Young’uns all the way up to you old folk!
Hungry or thirsty? Foggy Mountain is ready to feed y’all some videls if you are! Try a World Famous Buffalo Burger, made with 100% non-buffalo meat! Need to satisfy that sweet tooth? Even though Ole’ Grand pappy may not have a tooth left to claim as his sweet tooth, he still has all the candy that you can stuff into one of those ole’ burlap sacks he has layin’ around over there! When a day rolls around that as the mountain folk up here say is hotter that whiz, head on over to the spring for one of Mary Lou’s delicious root beers or and other drink that you may be cravin’! Ask any vender for a free cup of water as well on those hot days!
Foggy Mountain may be foggy and nearly forgotten, don’t let that stop you from scurryin’ on over! Grand Pappy and Mary Lou will love to see all of y’all! So hurry and hitch up that buggy and high-tail it on in to the mountains!

So it's time to add the next section. Any suggestions?!? Keep in mind that i'm doing this along time periods. (Dino Land, Space Command, and Foggy Mountain.) Thanks!!!

Interesting selection, that song is one of many played at Escape from Pompeii at BGE. Just thought ya'll should know.

I like the park Idea, it's simple yet effective and from the parks I've been to those are the best types of places you can go. It sounds good so far and I can't wait to see some pictures.
