Ozark Hills Theme Park

PRESS RELEASE: Memphis County officials have approved Granger Entertainment Inc. plans to build a theme park near Somerville, Tennessee. The theme park's name will be Ozark Hills. Ozark Hills is planned to open in Spring 2010. It will have shops, rides, and shows for guests of all ages. The park is said to cost around 500 million dollars.
Included in the rides will be:

Ozark Giant: A 200ft. roller coaster with 22 seconds of airtime, high speed turns through the wilderness, and two 90* banked turns.
Manufacturer: Bolliger & Mabillard

Timber Run: A family coaster for the little ones. This ride goes 40ft. high with lots of fun turns.
Manufacturer: Vekoma

Grizzly Bear Falls: When a tranquil themed boat ride takes a wrong turn, things get a little wet.

Venom Drop: A 200 ft. drop tower
Manufacturer: Intamin AG

Fork Mountain Falls: A family log flume that will refresh riders but not soak them.

Lumber Swing: A giant pendulum that swings to a 110ft. max height.
Manufacturer: HUSS Rides

Ozark Valley Railroad: A scenic railroad with a great view of the beautiful Ozark Mountains.

And many other rides for the family.

The park is a total of 105 acres. Granger Entertainment says they own 150 acres in the back of the park for future development. They would not say when they will expand and what will go back there.
Park officials were not available for comment.
They are saying construction will begin in late June 2007.

Questions or comments?

Construction pictures will be posted as soon as construction begins.

First, name one of your peeps David Walsh, and then press CTRL+U... This will remove the ingame interface. And then all you have to do is set your screen to the piture you want, and then hit F10...

Good luck getting them up, and if you do, please tell me how, i can't....

The first batch of construction shots are out this week. It seems like they were already working before the park got approved because the coaster and paths are already set in place.

Construction stalled waiting for more funds but is rumored to be starting up again by May 5. Stay tuned. The park is almost ready to open but just needs a few touch ups in the back. Pics will be uploaded after I visit the park this weekend for pics.

MY computer has been really slow so when I tried to work on it today it was really frustrating and I gave up. I'll try again this week. The park is done in terms of rides and pathways and trees but for some reason when I built it I didn't make enough benches, shops, restrooms, and food so I just have to put those in.

Yeah I hate when RCT3 does that. It wont even run on my computer anymore. I bought one for my mac, I just need to make room for it.

anyways, I think that this park looks great especially considering the use of rct3
