Star Wars Park(RCT2)

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

STAR WARS PARK

Take a journey through time and space as you progress through the events of all six Star Wars movie wrapped up in a heavily themed amusement park.
Some of the ride manufacturers that have been announced are Bolliger & Mabillard, Premier Rides, Vekoma Inc., Chance Rides, Huss, Intamin, Philadelphia Toboggan Company, GCI, Zamperla, and Zierer.(Just to name a few)
There are also rumors of several relocated rides, but Star Wars Park did not release any information on relocations.

Star Wars Park also promises more roller coasters than Cedar Point.
Construction will start in June of 2008 and will continue non-stop until the scheduled opening of May or June 2009.

Some concept art is attatched and more will be released soon.(note: this concept art is only the first trilogy(Episodes I, II, and III) so it is only about half of the park, but as promised more concept art is on the way soon.)

^Yes HRP did inspire some of the elements of the park.

EDIT: I almost forgot, Land clearing has begun, but actual construction won't begin until June.

Media Day

Welcome to Star Wars Park Media Day!

As promised, more concept art is released, along with some ride descriptions.
Star Wars Park will offer a whopping 18 roller coasters and many other rides to entertain the kids and the thrill-seekers.

Roller coasters
Amidala's Escape- A Premier Rides launch coaster that will send riders through an inverting tophat, a giant helix, and up a vertical spike only to do it again backwards.
The Phantom Menace- The World's first triple-dueling coaster. As B&M Stand-up, Floorless, and Inverted coasters travel through intertwined courses, many close calls with other trains, tracks, and the ground add to the excitement of the final battle of the Phantom Menace, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul. This coaster also features a soundtrack themed to the final battle of Episode I.
Bounty Hunter Pursuit- A B&M Dive Machine Themed to the opening scenes of Attack of the Clones. Standing at 200 feet, riders will dive through an Immelman Loop and and two giant helices over a lake.
Count Dooku- An Intamin Impulse coaster that launches you up two twisted, vertical spikes.
Yoda- A Philadelphia Toboggan Company wooden coaster that features an out and back layout.
Darth Sidious- A Vekoma Mine Train that features a double lift to represent the split personality of the Sith Lord.
Darth Vader- with the creation of Darth Vader comes a Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang.
C-3PO Droid Coaster- A Vekoma Kiddie Coaster that will entertain parents as much as their kids.
Falcon Flight- A custom B&M Flyer that takes riders out of Mos Eisely Spaceport to rescue Princess Leia.
Death Star Escape- A Schwarzkopf Shuttle Loop that launches riders out of the Death Star at hyper speed.
Ben Kenobi- a 250 foot tall Intamin hyper coaster that is loaded with air time, G-Forces, and a tunnel.
Snowspeeder- Defend the ice planet of Hoth on this Vekoma Looper that takes you out over the lake and through the ice and snow.
The Great Pit of Carkoon- Escape the Pit of Cakoon on this Premier coaster that speeds down into the pit and back out using a ferris wheel style lift.
The Death Star II- This Mack Wild Mouse will take riders speeding through the newly rebuilt Death Star.
Vader's Revenge- A Vekoma Flying Dutchman that takes riders through the stuggle between Darth Vader and The Emperor.
The Forest Moon- Take a ride through Endor's dense forrests on this 110 foot tall GCI wood coaster(with Millenium Flyer Trains) that twists and turns through near misses with trees and the coaster's structure.

^And yes, I did use Paint

Thanks. Sorry for the lined paper, though. I usually draw in school and don't have any unlined paper available in school.

I found mine a few months ago but sadly i found it under a dresser and it had been crushed by the dresser. I'll just have to buy a new copy at some point. I really miss playing it.

Dude where did you get those construction vehicles? Maybe I can use them for my park.

Love the hand drawn pics better than the paint program.

We see that the lift to The Phantom Menace is complete, a section of track is going up, and footers are being laid.
We also see some theming going up around the go-karts.

^Yes it is a Triple-Dueling coaster.

We see that Star Wars Stadium is nearly finished. Star Wars Stadium will be the site of the park's fireworks show which will feature clips from each movie along with pyrotechnics, lights, and lasers.

Jeez Racer. This park is coming along very nicely. I really, really, really can't wait for the download (if there is one).

^Did I read that correctly? A firework show on RCT2? Cool.

^Not really in the game, but I'm going to try to make it look like there is pyrotechnic equipment there. If I do this in RCT3, (which I might do if I have time) I can do it. You read it correctly, but I didn't exactly mean it literally, but I'm going to try to make it look good.

Looks great. I do believe RCT2 did have some Fireworks effects you could use. They were pretty janky but i do remeber seeing fireworks in RCT2.

Construction on Bounty Hunter Pursuit began at the same time as The Phantom Menace and is almost done.

Unfortunately, rain delayed some contruction.

Another shot of The Phantom Menace.
