RCT transfer problems

So I just got a new computer, and I'm going through and installing all the old games to this new machine, and moving saved games very easily with no hitch anywhere, until I get to the original RCT.

I was able to move all my old completed saved game files very easily, but somehow their completion record did not go quite so simply.

To explain this, remember how in the original RCT, you must complete scenarios in order to continue unlocking new scenarios. Well, on my new machine if I want to play one of these later scenarios it will not let me because "technically" I have not beaten the scenario according to the game on the new computer. I know there should be a file within the game documents that records this info but have had little luck finding it.

Can anyone tell me where it is or does someone have another way of unlocking these scenarios because I really don't want to have go through and re-unlock these. again. So technically it's re-re-unlock.

Thanks in advance for the help, and sorry if there is already a thread about this, I couldn't find it using search.

What I've done is save the game near the completion of the scenario, then save it after the completion. Therefore, if I need to move to another hard drive, I will have the nearly finished scenario handy.

A bit late for that, good idea though, if push comes to shove and I do have to redo all these I'll definitely save near completion with "almost done" at the end of the file name.

Sorry can't run RCT1 in my laptop. RTC3 adds a fine to your documents section that is were the completion files are located for RCT3. It might to a similar move in RCT1.

though it's more fun to redo them here is some cheat codes that can get you there faster. http://www.cheatcodesgalore.com. you could always get a few previctory files from Andrew.

Oh RCT3 moved fine, with RCT3 (unless you change the directory) it installs its own folder under "my documents" which instead of going through and sorted out the stuff I wanted, felt too lazy and just copied and pasted the whole folder. No problems.

I'm sure that with RCT1 its in there somewhere, how else does it keep track of where you are? I'll keep looking around for a file on my old laptop thats not on the new one, or worded differently or that has different stuff.
