I've got 8 cars trainer and am trying to figure out how to get the coasters to be brand new again. I'm sure it has something to do with the order of how you do it, but I've tried a dozen combinations and have had no luck. The instructions provided by the 8 car designer doesn't explain things very well.

I open my scenario and select the coaster (Opens the dialogue box where you can select to open, test or close the ride). I've also tried selecting the ride by right clicking on it and opening the "construction box," and it doesn't work.

Then I open 8 cars, go to rides, edit ride stats, click the box next to "renew," and have clicked both "apply" and "ok" and nothing happens.

Has anyone gotten it to work before? I'm sure there's someone out there! Thanks!

Go to the staff menu, click mechanic and renew rides. That should do it. I had to do that after a custom designed (and sweet) coaster of mine crashed.
