Its harder than making your own creation. Just look at pictures and make all the figures exact and then make sure its smooth and all that stuff. If your new at NL, best not try it.

You look at LOTS pictures, and if you're lucky you find a blueprint.

Just download some recreations off of CS if you would like. No need to make it your self. lol.

I don't think there is an acutal site that has a lot of blue prints. A site might have a few here and there, but I think they are pretty rare to find.

As Matt said, just study the ride as much as you can with pictures a video footage of the ride and have LOTS of patience when recreating something.

I was lucky and printed off what I could of Hydra's blue prints that were floating around the net. Best advice would be to ride the ride, know it inside and out, along with what everyone else has mentioned.

^ good advice but I wouldn't travel 500 miles just to get info on a ride that would probably turn out as crap when I remade it.

But at least you'll have another coaster to add to your count. I'd just stick to making something SIMILAR to the coaster but not call it a recreation. At least you'll have some feeling from the ride plus your own. |

If your going to make a re creation you will need lot of pics so you get the layout supports and other thing right and it better be smooth cuz otherwise it will be no fun to ride.

That's definately the way to go. Really helps with the layout.

But, its hard to get it right on using the sats, the pic is always to the side a bit. I guess thats where ground pics come in handy.

Most of those pictures are VERY close to straight down. You could trace it and it would be very reliable, probably 95% close. From there using some coaster sense would do the trick for the rest of it.
