Great New Big Wooden Coaster Coming Soon

This large twisting coaster was designed to an alll out white nuckle thrill ride, with numerous steep drops, tight turns, airtime and plenty of surprises. In certain aspects of size it can be said that it was inspired by other large wooden twisters such as Texas Giant and Mean streak. But the emphasis was to include a design that would be much smoother and feature more airtime hills than those other rides. The second half really shines where it seems to really maintain its speed and ends with a thrilling downward helix. Capacity is reallly good since it runs 3 trains so this ride is ideal for one of the larger chain parks.

Statisics:

Height: 144 feet
First Drop: 130 feet
Track Length: 5369 feet
Top Speed: 61 mph

Most of the the design work is done, just fine tuning.

Well looks like the ride will be complete next week. So look for it to open up either friday or saturday. Any comments or suggestions before I open it up?

3 trains? As far as I can tell, you could probably run 4 with no problem. Three brakes at the end (inc. station), plus a lift and MCBR. That's 5 blocks. I would recommend trying 4 trains before uploading. Good luck in finishing!

Other than that, it looks great! Without checking the smoothness or pacing, I'd probably give it an 8 for looks, as the two block sections at the end look LOOOOOOOONG. Maybe make the second one a station? Also, you should add some 3d's. They always make the ride look better. If you don't know how, don't ask me because I don't either.

Yeah, I don't think I have the software to do 3d's. And besides if I did, it would still take long to model anything I wanted to add.

Yes there is 5 blocks, but even on real coasters its very common to run 3 trains with 5 blocks. For example at kings island, Vortex has station, two brake runs prior to the station, lift, and block brake and it runs 3 trains (5 blocks). The Beast at Kings Island is another example in that it has (5 blocks, well 6 according to the ride manual but for all intentions blocks 2-3 can be considered one block).

I think the risk you have if you have only 1 brake run before the station and run 3 trains is the train stopping on the block brake. This would happen if you have a longer loading time in the station (perhaps guest with a disability, etc). In this case its very possible that you would have a train in the station for a bit longer causing the train before to stack on the brake run. The train on the course would than stop on the block brake. This would not happen if you had two brake runs prior to the station. This is actually the reason why Son of Beast was blocked for 3 trains but since it never could have two trains on its brake run, it was never practical to run 3 trains since when they did try it (just testing not with actual guest), the ride would setup on the midcourse.

So with all this being said, I think its best to have two brake runs prior to the station for 3 trains and I am not going to try running 4 trains. I personally feel it would not work in real life

This ride seems to have no interest in that no one has rated it? Like I spend all this time designing the ride, adding photes as I go along on No Limits Development Site, and yet not one single rate. Please, somebody rate it or even comment on here. Since I am losing interest posting my rides on this site if no one even comments or rates your ride

^I've got the same problem when I upload rides to the RCT section in speedzone. One way to get people interested in your coaster is to promote the file from speedzone in your signature.

And a huge tip that I give to people uploading coasters or parks from NL or the RCT series, is to have a preview image uploaded to your Speedzone file as well, so at least the downloader has an idea what they are getting.

Don't get frustrated with the lack of responses.
