Soar like a hawk as you fly around mountains and over a lake. This vekoma flying dutchman will take you through a fun filled ride that starts out fast, but then slows down to allow the rider to take in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Think superman:Ultimate flight, but longer and more awesome because I made it 8P
Tommahawk features the following elements in chronological order:
lie-to-fly
134' pretzle loop
horseshoe
roll(cammelback)
sidewinder-fly-to-lie
corkscrew-lie-to-fly
roll(cammelback)
fly-to lie
ALL Gs are in the green, tested in FL FR BL BR, and as far as I can tell read out as follows:
max+vert/max-vert/maxlat/max+A/max-A
Do you realize that this is 4 G's against your chest? The readouts are based on the seating position, so the "Vert" G's are perpendicular to the seat, not the track. "Accel" G's are through the riders' heartline, forward and back. Therefore, in the fly position, the Accel G's turn into the Vert G's you're used to on other coasters.
The point is, the yellow and red numbers are there to give you an idea of what the ride will feel like. The "Accel" red and yellow are set to around -5 to 5, which relate mostly to launch and brake sections. I can't see a young 100lb child enjoying 400lbs of weight on their chest in the flying position. This is why all flying coasters turn riders on their backs for loops. I personally would want to keep the "negative accel" forces under 2.5. [Notice how long and drawn out flying drops are, there's a reason for this.]
negative acceleration forces pull you down, so it would be however much weight there is in your chest x4 pressing you into the harness. The +A forces press you into the seat... hmm I see your point. Maybe tomahawk isn't as gentle as I thought >^_^< oh well, did you DL the track and ride it yet? Could you tell me how I did on other areas like BT O and A? I guess there isn't too much A in the second half but I could be wrong. Oh and how do you think I did on supports? this was the first time I really tried making them, and I think there is a little bit of over-supporting, but I like all the body choppers on the pretzle loop...
