Using elementary with vista

I got a new computer with vista installed(wanted XP but it was a package), and apparently vista is missing a file named "msvbvm50.dll" that is required to run elementary.

Does anyone know if it is possible to just import that file from my laptop and stick it in the proper place, or will that screw up vista?

This nice hi-def HDMI 22" wide screen 1680 x 1050 moniter and my geforce 8500gt card run NL incredibly well, and it is incredibly annoying not being able to use elementary in my rides.

Problem solved, thanks to the help of SFNErules at coastersims! All I had to do was dl the file and place it in my system folder. It was as easy as that.
