New community project?

Hey! Just popping in here to see if anyone would like to start a new community project (new guarantee: Incident free!). Just holler in this thread if you're interested. I've been brushing up on my NL skills and have made a few "fun" coasters as some might call them.

So yeah; anyone interested just say so...

I was thinking of setting a coaster to a song; a short song obviously, but we could figure that out later on.

This is mainly to see how many people are intrested to know if it would be better if we assigned sections of the project or just take turns.

Probably shouldn't do more than four or five people. Otherwise there may be too much conflict of ideas.

Ok I understand how we could take turns... What do you mean "assign sections" though?

Either way I'm interested... I just want to know what to expect.

Assign sections, as in one person designs the track, another tweaks, heartlines it, another makes the support structure, and others add 3ds, make a terrain, etc.

Can any of you do 3DS? If so, we could do...

1 person doing track

1 person doing supports

1 person doing 3ds

1 person terraforming

My other question is if any of you have an account on Coaster Cravers. If we can't get enough people here I was thinking I could make another thread on CC and do it there.

I have a programs to do 3ds... but I would hardly want to leave myself in the position of being responsible for the whole ride (See CoW project to see how much I've done with 3ds... yeah... nothing yet). I mostly use FVD (wow, guess they're old now?) and Elementary and then hand-support the ride.

I just wish we had some more people. That way, it would truly me more of a community project than "4 guys working on a ride". It's no big deal, but if we want to make a decent ride, I would need to do either terraforming or trackwork, as I suck at anything else
