i gave it a 9, because it still runs pretty good on my computer especially since i have only 4mb video memory(8 minimum is what it is supposed to be i think) and i have like 32mb less ram then the minimum, i think most people that give it a low rating is because there computer isnt very good(you can still have a fast processor and it still wont work good, its all about the ram and your graphics card, you need a good graphics card and it will work good, i played this game on the skools computer today and i was amazed at how much better it was with a good card and 512mb ram

It runs decently on my computer, but seems to crash frequently, even though I have way above the system requirements. The graphics are decent but not as good as NL. So I give it a 7.

I give this game an 8 as far as the Demo is concerned. I know(and hope it will be a 10 at reease) but it does crash once in a while and the grapgics arn't the best they can be. There are some small problems in D2 that were already fixed so that is a huge plus and it willl ROCK! when it comes out.

The graphics are ok, not that good, but I love the flexibility of this prog. The invisible track let's you do more than just coasters, and on the coasters themselves, you've got details like transfer track control and stuff. I like how that was all done. But again, the graphics can improve. They're not bad either, just ok.

I played It once. It was very confusing. I was so use to NL I didn't even give the game a chance. So.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I've played the demo and thought that it was pretty good. I had tried using the demo of NoLimits and couldn't get a piece of track to be straight. So I tried Scream Machines and found it much easier to use. Does anyone here have the newest version of SM? I think I might wait until V2 comes out.

I find the editor confusing for beginners, but once you get it, it's easy. The camera sucks, and the graphics are nice. 8

Just as an update to everyone, SM 2.0 work is progressing, we're hoping to possibly have it out by the end of the year... Possibly.

We've completely redone the graphics engine making it look much better, also terrain is completely revamped.

As for anyone looking for a download of the original game, visit www.wounded-heart.com and you can find everything you need there.

That is great to hear. Now I can have SM 2.0 for Christmas. Can you release any other details such as new features, tracks, etc.?

I saw some screens of it on the site. I've never played it, but since the graphics seemed pretty good and it was pretty realistic I gave it an 8. NoLimits is better.

Cool

7/10 cause graphics could be better and it is pretty hard to get transitions between pieces of track to be smooth.
