Cool Arrow Tribute

beacuse we may never see another arrow coaster again, I have decided to make my own. it will include some things truly unique to arrow, like the cutback, wrap around corkscrew, and the double corkscrew. below is a sample layout as to what i am going to do. although you can barly see them, there are lines showing the highs and lows. purple being low, pin high. the green box is a station, green is the lift, light blue an inversion, and blue stands for block brakes. tell me what you think!!!

Cool idea having all of Arrow's more famous elements included in one coaster...though kind of late. We knew Arrow wouldn't be around for long since when?

You mean an Arrow Looping coaster? From what I remember, their last two ones were this one at Al Shaab Leisure park and Tennessee Tornado (they both use the weird looking curved ties). There is a 4D roller coaster (possibly 4D by the looks of it) in Japan that looks like an Arrow Ride.

I sometimes make Arrow like rides in NoLimits and sometimes over stereotype them. I'll make one for fun right now, cause I'm bored. Hope to see pics of yours soon.

Cool

bk2004... yeah, i know. i just wanted to really polish up my scream machine skills before starting a big project like this.

medusa584... thanks. i was goning to use a bowtie instead or the double corkscrew, but the train probably wouldnt make it through. i am going to start it tomorrow, and i should have pics by saturday. i read somewhere that they claimed bankrupcy in late 2002 and were bought out by s&s power in 2003. i don't know how right that is, but my gut is telling me it sounds right.

Looks good, but I couldn't possibly imagine the Gs on a cutback after a 220 ft. drop.

If you go on www.s-spower.com , you'll see that in the news section, they clearly have a document of acquisition of Arrow Dynamics, and if you go to rideentertainment.com, you'll see that S-SArrow is one of their companies.

^^but arrow still declared bankrupcy. also, any new rides will be under the name s&s power. that site also hasnt been updated in a while because the have the thurst air 2000 listed as the worlds fastest coaster. and no, i'm not trying to be a jerk even though i probably came around that way

^ that isn't a pretzal loop, its a boomerang. because x was their last coaster, and the first 4-d, the colors will be yellow and pink....
fruity? yes
cool? a bigger yes

Cool the first bach of pics, fresh out of my dream Arrow!

The pictues are in!! you can see the first turnaround, the lift, and the first post-lift drop. it isn't all that substantial, but it is big enough to set a good pace for the rest of the ride. so far it is pretty smooth. i hope you like the colors!

two questions:
(just to be sure) Arrow coasters tend to keep a pretty hefty pace through the inversions, right?

does the cutback on drachen fire go a total 180 degrees upside down, or does it only go to 160-170 for the sake of g forces?

That pre lift turn looks pretty ineresting, and the colors look just like X's. They kind of look funny when on a mountain, like how Tatsu has those bright colours and sticks out.
