104 Pop Up Ads

When I closed out of Thrillnetwork, 104 ads popped up. Alot of them were the same too. If that ever happens it again, I will no longer visit thrillnetwork.

That's an error on your PC. We have been limiting the amounts of pop-ups now that the traffic is increasing on the site and the standard ads are getting more pageviews. We would never have that many pop ups open up. Might be another site you had open.

I don't know about you, but I never get more than 5 pop-ups per visit to the site.

104? Sounds like it has something to do with your computer or something...

Wierd. Might be a cookie left over from one of those sites that create hundreds of pop-ups and crash your system.

First, you actually counted all of them??????? Second, I RARELY get popups. I get 1 or 2 every time I visit the site at the most. And I am not using some popup stoping thing. Great, now that I said it I probably will get tons of popups.

Same here. I used a pop-up killer before but deleted it because it didn't do what I wanted and stopped other windows (like Word) from opening. I get no more than 3 or 4 here, but at WUL (wrestlingunleashed.com) I get bombarded with them constantly.

Must of been of time bomb from another website, or perhaps you have spyware (get Ad-Aware to fix that). I hate it when I go to a website that does that, or when you miss type a popular website and get a zillion popups. If you got a good web browser such as Opera, Mozilla (not Netscape) or Omniweb, your popup problem is automatically solved.

I would bet it was probally spyware, to combat that (as mentioned above) Get Ad-Aware to get those outta there, also try emptying your cookies, (You'll have to login again to TN) But TN should never cause 104 popups!
