So I have my email notification in my preferences set to 'no'. Yet everyday I get about 100 TN emails notifying me about posts. I tried to set my email address to something funky to solve the problem, but I got locked out of my account for a week or so.

What to do?

Everytime I ride a coaster, it valleys. I've never been on a stalled coaster or had one roll back (except Wicked Twister and what was Superman: Ultimate Escape, which does that by design).

Are you subscribed to any threads? That might be it.
