Unnecessary/unrelated links in posts

I've noticed that a couple of DEJA-VU RULES recent posts contain unnecessary and irrelevant links. Why?

Examples:

Post - #5

But the odds of all our computers having the spyware in them is very slim. Plus I just whiped my HD clean last night, so I'm almost 100% sure it's not spyware. (I have SpySweeper and PestPatrol runnig at all times.) So is TN using adsrve now to generate more money? It isn't that big of a deal, just kind of annoying.

Nine times out of ten, it's Spyware or trojan... judging by that link.

You need to get Spybot or AdAware and run it.

TN does not use adsrve... nor do we ever plan to. The fact is, it's a client side trojan that needs to be removed.

See the links below...

DEJA-VU RULES: I would advise you NOT to post on TN until you have this fixed. What is happening is that you are posting with the WYSIWYG editor, and the trojan is making the links within the editor, thus making them show up for everyone else and causing problems.

Same thing... Spyware. Run a spyware scanner, or make sure you have either the latest version of Norton Antivirus or McAfee with virus definitons updated and perform a full system scan.

That's slightly different than the one affecting DEJA-VU RULES.

Woah, so the spyware DEJA-VU RULES computer was affecting all of us. I never knew that was possible. Damn spyware/adware these days... they'll stop at nothing. Sorry for accusing TN of using adsrve.

I'm glad it's fixed now though.

If you are having problems removing it, you might want to have a computer pro remove it or someone who is good with computers and knows how to deal with spyware to remove it.

I could help, but I am at work right now and can't make the remote assistance wizard connection.

Make sure the virus definitions are up to date. Also, Norton Antivirus 2004 is the only one that really starts removing spyware (to an extent).

You will need to contact a computer pro who would know how to take care of that stuff. Some of the tools in the links above are for advanced users only and can screw up your computer if used incorrectly.
