| Submitted news story never posted
Just curious that if you don't post a story that's submitted, can the person who submitted it be notified? I ask because I submitted a story yesterday about the grandmother and grandchildren that found the body of a drown swimmer on the beach at Cedar Point and it never got posted and I would just liked to have known if it didn't meet what you guys are looking for or what. Thanks.

I asked that it be posted, but the editors who get the submissions apparently haven't submitted it. They are supposed to be looking at all submissions. *looks at editors*

I posted it Drewbie. Sorry for the delay, it got buried in my E-Mail, plus I am on 0 hours of sleep for 2 days so give me a break here! Anyways, I will try to be more aware, and I think I speak for the whole staff. You can always Instant Message me if you have a story to post. So yeah, thanks Drewbie.

A word of advice to anyone submitting a story. Although you can certainly email us, it's a better idea to send us PMs or IMs. When I'm checking for news, I check this site every day to see what news has already been posted, and I check my PMs at the same time. As for IMs, if we happen to be online, send us a message. I don't know about the other editors, but I check my email about once a week or so, since the only thing I really get, besides junk mail, is the occasional mailing list. I'll try to remember to check my email more often, but keep PMs and IMs in mind as an alternative.
