Ok, here's a confusing one for you moderators...

On the 12th of August xtreme posted a thread about the SFMM construction/coaster in the news and rumors. Fast forward to now and xtreme just made another thread about the same subject, the SFMM coaster project. The trip about this all is that not only did he make two exact threads about the same thing, he didn't even use the search button to find the official construction thread. Here's the links:

Not sure that this belongs here or not, but have you guys abandoned the thinking that there was not to be a news story on the main page and a thread in the forums? I know you used to close duplicate discussions and direct everyone to the main page in the past, but now we've got at least 2 stories in the past few days that have news items on the main page and forums topics that match up. I'm talking about the Redskins owner to buy PKS and PKS putting itself on sale.

If the rule about this has changed, please let us know.
