Flame wars

About this thread:

If a group of members are flaming in a thread, please post a link to the thread and page number here. If it's a single member, post a link to the thread and page number and the name of the member.

Flaming is name-calling or bashing other members in threads. Flaming usually leads to arguing and getting way off topic.

take me and slnewbus for example, he started dissing me and then it lead to flaming, and now he is bringing arguments from another website to try and get me banned...terrible person

when xbadx placed the word bit*ch as a comment on my xanga http://www.xanga.com/item.aspx?user=...&uid=250382181 , I posted it on after xbadx bragged about it to everybody.
Kinda hypocritical, he can say things like that, but almost everything that is said on the boards he is offended by.

First thing first, this thread is to inform the staff of flaming, not to discuss it. We try to keep the forums in check, but sometimes we are unable to find everything on our own. If you are posting about a flame war, or the flames leading into one, thank you for helping us out. I have deleted the other posts.

xbadx1233 and slnewbus,

Both of you have been banned recently. The next step for both of you is a permanent ban. I suggest both of you read the Terms of Use. Failure to follow it on our site will result in such disciplinary action. I don’t care what happens outside of ThrillNetwork between the two of you. Posts such as “MemberX is a total jerk and better check the comment I made on his xanga” or a link to another website on TN used to flame the member will not be tolerated. Again, both of you must follow the Terms of Use that you signed up for when you became a member, else you will be permanently banned.

Dude, stop already, will ya? You have nerve calling someone a "tattletail" when that's all you've done since you got here. Here's a hint for you if you want to stop being involved in so much flaming and for people to generally stop disliking you. Grow a backbone and stop letting everything get to you. Afterall, you entered the message board games thread about telling lies about the person above you and then complained about it and said people were flaming you. It would be like going into a sauna and complaining it's hot, would someone do that? Well...you might. Just stop whining about every little thing and maybe you'll actually have some fun.

Because if you don't stop your current behavior, I can assure you it won't get any better for you and you'll be gone one way or the other with a month or two. Calm down and relax.

Might I remind you, xbadx, that both you and slnewbus are on probation still due to past behaviors. Slnewbus has remedied his behavior for the most part. YOU haven't. Just like Steven said a few posts above, if you want respect on this site, you need to earn it. And right now, you are earning crap.

[edit] This guy really has a problem of some sort...If you take a look at this thread, you will see that even when people try to help him out, he just has to be rude to them.
