Alright I know this is for on ride pictures, videos, or other inappropriate additions in post. But I found a on ride photo for a profile to report. Memeber erms12 has an on ride photo of Thunderhead for his profile picture, and he should know that it is not allowed not just because it's a Thrillnetwork rule but there is signs post at the ride stating that you may not take cameras on the ride, so he violated a park rule too. His profile link is: www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/member.php?u=12369

It's apparently been removed.

There's no proof it was taken illegally though |

If you don't have written permission from the park then yes it is illegal. Provide us with the letter from the park and you can keep it up. Otherwise, please take down the avatar.

James, we deleted the photos taken without permission. The one's from Pysclone were taken with permission from the park during the RCCGB's trip. Thank you for finding those for us.

The picture next to your name in your posts needs to be taken down. Go into your control panel, which is at the top of the page where the menu bar is. Select edit avatar, and change it to a more appropriate picture. No one but you put up that picture in the first place, so I don't know how you don't know about it.

Ok... before this gets out of hand... you need to be able to prove that it is illegal in that state and/or explicitly prohibited (Cedar Fair, Holiday World, etc.). to take such on-ride photos that currently exist in our DB. So, the burden of proof is on you. Also, if it was legal at the time, or permission was given by the park, it won't be removed. Just blatantly pointing out on-ride photos won't suffice.

^So does that mean that we have to PM the person and ask for if they got permission or not then? Becaus I'm not a editor/moderator or anything so it's not my place to PM someone and ask them if they had permission all I can do is report it to someone who can. Oh and I don't think the picture at this link is the Voyage: http://database.thrillnetwork.com/db...voyage4466.htm Reason: The Voyage doesn't look this good.

It means to leave the obscurities to the DB editors, unless it's staring you at your face (like a Cedar Point or Holiday World POV, where they are prohibited.). Th "Voyage" photo was also deleted.

So basically on ride photos in the database leave alone and hope that the Database editors find them?

If there's a question about it, ask a DB editor directly (Bryan Wood, Graham, Chris L, Sir Willow, Joseph). If it's blatantly obvious, post it here. In most cases, we assume its legal unless we hear otherwise.

Is it legally taken? Also, where's your link back to TN in your signature link?

I don't know if it's legally taken. That's why I want to know if this: ^applies to my avatar. |

Well, if it's questionable, have a DB editor or moderator examine it.

This is from SFNE's website about photography.... www.sixflags.com/parks/newengland/ParkInfo/parkpolicies.html PHOTOGRAPHY Cameras may not be permitted on thrill rides. Please check at ride entrances regarding camera policies for each ride. Six Flags New England requests that all photographs or videos taken by guests be used for their personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Six Flags New England is prohibited. So until you have written consent from the park, no go on the avatar.
