What Artists/Bands have you seen live?

The favorite band thread got me thinking about all the people I've seen live. I'd especially like to see leeloo's list!

So who have you seen live? I think this might be interesting.

Here's mine that I can think of (and keep in mind I'm a child of the 80's)
* means I've seen them more than once.

U2
Prince
Bryan Adams
Whitney Houston
Stryper
Michael Sweet (solo)
Steven Curtis Chapman *
dc Talk *
Amy Grant *
Michael W Smith *
Journey (post Perry)
Reo Speedwagon
Styx
Boston
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
Audio Adrenaline *
Elton John
B-52's
The Pretenders
Travis Tritt
Third Day *
Carman *
PFR
Mark Lowry *
Nelson
Newsboys *
4 Him *
Jars of Clay *
The Coasters (appropriate). lol
Ray Boltz
Seduction
Petra *
White Heart *
Mylon and Broken Heart *
Expose
And the one that I bet no one will say Milli Vanilli! I rock! I saw them "Live". lol

And also a bunch of Christian groups and bands over the years that hardly anyone will know on here...

Ok that's my list for now...

I never seen them but I got my own embarrasing artists that I've seen and I know I will get a hard time about it....but oh well. A while back, I was invited to go see a concert since some female friends had an extra ticket after a friend had cancelled. My friend couldn't find anyone else to go, so she asked me. Since it would be for free, I said yes, I had nothing else to do that day. So anyway the concert was sponsored by a local radio station and featured Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and some other hot teen stars of that time. I know I can hear over 7,000 TN members laughing all at once.

If only I could filter out that part of my life.

I'm not very big on concerts either, too expensive and I like being able to hear. I'd rather not lose my hearing by the time I'm 30.

Yeah, I'll admit it. Went with my mom because she enjoys Idols too. Kinda don't have money to go to any concerts.

Metallica (many times), White Zombie, Pantera, Sepultura, Petra (yeah, I know they don't fit in there), Powerman 5000, Limp Bizkit (before they were known), Primus (several times), Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Slayer, Slipknot, Soulfly, Sevendust, Mudvayne, Morbid Angel, Static-X, Pitchshifter, Reveille, Ill Nino, Meshuggah, Andrew WK, Neurotica, Mushroomhead, Seether, Hatebreed (several times), Amen, Workhorse Movement, Zeke, Christ Puncher, Loki, Dip Poop (had to censor their name, just use your imagination), Conundrum, Dominion, System of a Down, Mr. Bungle (best live band ever), Boy Hits Car, Fear Factory, Kittie, Slaves on Dope, Kid Rock, Ray Boltz (played in my home town, thanks for listing him bgwfreak or I would've forgotten), Incubus, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Downset, Nickelback (before they got big), Nashville P**** (another I had to censor), Pulse Ultra, Black Label Society, Drowning Pool, Crazytown, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Marilyn Manson, Adema, Otep, Down, Superjoint Ritual, Skinlab, Speedealer (actually I know the bassist now), Hot Iron Skillet, Ozzy Osbourne....

All that is just off of the top of my head, I've seen MANY more bands, but I just don't remember the names of all of them or I never knew the names of some of them, I've probably been to more shows than most of you, but then again, I'm a little older than most of you as well. Also keep in mind that I have never even liked a lot of the bands on that list, many of them were part of a festival or something of that sort.

I've only seen Nida Sky when they came to our college. I was in my dorm and heard their song through the window, so I ran into the quad to catch the end. Man, I need to get to a concert! lol

^ Why do you say The Beatles was the worst concert? I would have loved to have seen them---especially at that price!

Don't feel bad, I would've liked to have seen the before they just recently broke up, unless it was the concert in Rosemont by me in which some concert goers tried to sue Creed because the lead singer Stapp (I think that is his name) appeared to be drunk and very off key and messing up on many of their songs.

leeloo I knew your list would be impressive.

Hmmm David Bowie the best???? ha ha

I can understand the problems with the Beatles concert. I've stopped going to concerts if I'm going to be in the nosebleed section. I'd like to at least see the artist I'm paying $50 to "see". lol

Paul was in Raleigh 2 years ago on his Back in the US tour, but nosebleed started at $50. I wasn't willing to pay $75 to see him. So I bought the DVD. lol

It was one of the coolest arena shows that I've ever been to. They were great...cool stage too. If you like their music at all, you loved that show.
