My friend invited me to go see them tomorrow at the Garden but it's 80 bucks and it's up in the nosebleeds. Maybe I'll go, but that's a little steep for me. He'll be disappointed they won't be playing The Wicker Man though.

I watched Motion City Soundtrack, live, on DeepRockDrive.com the other night. It was interesting performance.

It was freakin' sweet. One of the best shows I've ever seen.

And the venue down in Charlotte is NICE. Best outdoor pavilion place I've been to. 100X better then stupid Nissan Pavilion up here in VA. The show was amazing and well worth the drive and money spent on gas, food, and a camp site for the night.

Yeah, I was a bit bummed that it being an 80s show, they weren't gonna do my favorite song, Stranger In A Strange Land. I'm going to be 11 rows from the front, so it should be the night of my life.

Yeah, so I should have gone to see Iron Maiden. Apparently, the power went out so they started playing soccer on stage(during Powerslave, how metal is that). Also, the way I heard they opened the show...maybe the 80 bucks would have been worth it. Hopefully they tour again soon.

Just saw a band tonight called 65 Days of Static, an instrumental "math rock" band with heavy, melodic, and electronic elements. Hadn't heard of them before, cool stuff. Till the fuel runs dry…

I saw Pearl Jam tonight at the Susquehanna Center in Camden, NJ. Just look over and Philly is there. I also found my cousin and her husband on the way home on the train platform

Went to see Iron Maiden in Maryland on Wednesday, and it was the best experience of my life. Sold out show, so loud, the band was so pumped... I'll probably never have a concert experience like that again.

I'll be sad to miss 311 again this year. I am looking forward to going to see Newsboys, Six Pence Non the Richer, Toby Mac, Flyleaf at Revelation Generation this Labor Day weekend.

Vekoma, I've got my ticket for their Houston stop in November.

I saw them last time they came through, and I am seeing them again! Looking forward to this show.

As usual, I will be seeing 311 this summer. Going back to Atlanta for the show next week. It could be my last show as I'm starting to lose interest and their setlists are getting worse.

Saw Weird Al at Casino Rama last night.

That was one of the greatest concerts I have seen. A great mix of comedy and music, I was laughing pretty much the entire time. His costumes for each song were great, and he did a great melody of a bunch of his songs in the middle of the performance. You know a concert is going to be awesome when he starts out by singing a polka with Pussycat Dolls, 50 cent, Snoop Dog, and Kanye West all in the same song. Then ending with Fat while doing Micheal Jackson dances was just the icing on an already great cake.
Will definitely see him again.

Saw 311's tour this past weekend, and it's almost certainly the last time I go and see them. The set was all stuff I've heard (several times) before and I just can't stand dealing with large groups of 311 fans. Maybe if they ever play at the Hard Rock or HOB here in Orlando I'd see them, but other than that I can't see myself spending the money and dealing with the crowds to see the exact same things for the 10th time.

A week from Sunday we're going to see Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick in Raleigh.

4th time seeing Journey (seen 3 of their 4 lead singers, never saw Perry)
1st time seeing the other two, and really the only reason I'm going.

I want you to want me...I need you to need me...

And if you have no idea what song that is, then you need to listen to some Cheap Trick. It was also in a diet coke commercial a few years back.

Today I saw O.A.R in studio at Radio 104.5, our local Clear Channel Alternative station. I heard 3 songs, got autographs, and tickets to tonight's show at Festival Pier here in Philly. I gave them to my friend who's more into them. She was right. She told me how she met the lead singer at the Jersey Shore. After tonight's show he'll go down there to be with his mom.

G-Love is from the Philly area.

Me and my friend decided to only to Lollapalooza Friday because most the bands like went Friday. Tickets sold out Thursday and we didn't have any yet. But we weren't going to give up so we got Chicago at 8am the next morning to scalp tickets. We looked for almost 3 hours. Nothing. It started at 12 and we didn't have tickets. But. luckily my friend found a guy that had extras coming. When the guy got there we realized they were just letting us borrow wristbands to get in. But we didn't care. 130$ each.

Black Lips:
Awesome show. They are a mess though. Played everything I wanted them to.
8/10

Rogue Wave:
We weren't really at their show but heard the whole thing while eating. Played my three favorite songs so I was happy. Good Setlist.
7.5/10

Louis XIV:
I knew one song by them before this and liked it so we gave them a chance. I love Louis XIV. They were amazing.
8.5/10

Ok, BGW is gonna be disappointed in me but we broke down when we saw all the peeps waiting at Black Keys for The Raconteurs and decided to see Gogol Bordello, Bloc Party, and get an amazing spot for Radiohead. Which we did.

Gogol Bordello:
I am a fan. They had so much energy. Just wow!
9/10

Bloc Party:
Kele is an outstanding frontman. Everyone was dancing and singing. Their drummer is the best one I have seen.

I'll tell you about Radiohead later.

Yep, just bought my Revelation Generation ticket today. Saturday of Labor Day Weekend I'll see the evening portion of the show, starting with Six Pence Non the Richer, Flyleaf, TobyMac, and the Newsboys closing the night. I promised myself the last two years I'd see the Newsboys again.

Skillet would be on earlier in the day Saturday. Leeland would be Friday night.

Haha, I'm not to dissapointed.

I never actually talked about any of the Lolla acts... even though I said I would. So I guess now would be a good time.

We Started the day with Bang Camaro, who were a hoot. it was a fun set, how can you not enjoy 80's style hair metal sung by 15 lead singers who are all on stage at the same time? Not an act I would ever actually listen to, but they were a great way to start the weekend.
After this we checked a little bit of the experimental electronica group Holy ****. They were pretty good, it was fun to watch them play with the many many keyboards and sound boards and nobs and peedles. It was a quite fascinating thing to see. Sadly, it seemed they were really getting into a groove right when we had to leave for...

Manchester Orchestra. They put on a really good show. Still not as good as the first time I saw them, but I doubt anything will ever beat that first experience. If you are a fan of the band, I highly suggest seeing these guys live.

After this we headed back to the AT&T stage to get a good for gogol, and by doing so we caught some of yeasayers set. They caught my attention for sure, I will definitely be checking them out in the future.

Gogol was great. They were everything I was expecting and then some. The only downside were all the radiohead campers who were just standing their during the set going "what the hell is happening here..." haha. But the people who were actually there for Gogol were having the time of their life. My personal Highlight was "Start Wearing Purple" which of course created a massive sing along. It was a great time.

Heres a video of them playing "Start Wearing Purple" Its not the best quality, but it gives you an idea of how fun the set was. And you can see me, at 1:29, I'm the one waving the purple flag thing.
