Have they changed their stage presence? The last few times I've seen them they weren't much to watch live.

Awesome, I kind of figured they would be a good live show. They arent coming to detroit on this tour though.

Trail of dead was an amazingly fun show as always, the crowd was really into it too. Also; wolf eyes was intense...serioulsy could be the most intense live band ive ever seen. Animal collective opened, I hadent listened to them prior to seeing them but they were pretty good.

Other than the ones I already mentioned Hot Hot Heat, the Killers, Blood Brothers, and Brendan Benson are all playing a show in detroit in two weeks...its hosted by a local radiostation im not too fond of but i'le be going for sure.

Only show I'm currently planning on is Modest Mouse in Philadelphia either June 18th or 19th.

They're not coming to Pittsburgh this time >_<

Nice. Where abouts are they playing?

For anyone who likes them, here are some pictures from that Underoath show I went to on the 22nd;
http://photobucket.com/albums/v618/e...ent/Underoath/

They put on a pretty good show. However, they only played for about 35-40 minutes and it was still light out by the time the show was over!

My next concerts should be the EdgeFest and Sounds of the Underground. Edgefest should be fun, I'll get to see Rise Against again as well as Alexisonfire.

30STM is playing at the Mod Club, but it's a 19+ show (thankfully, I turned 19 a month ago). The tickets are also only $12 each ($15 with tax and charges)

Edgefest does sound fun, but I've already seen most of the bands I want to see. I've seen Billy Talent at Warped, Story of the Year 3 times now, Jakalope, and Out of Your Mouth. The only band I want to see is Social Code.

Did Fear Before the March of Flames open by any chance?

I'm not a fan of either band but a big group of my friends saw underoath when they were here and said FBMF opened and I saw them last year at a thriftstore in south carolina.

I just spent the past weekend in New York City and saw U2 at Madison Square Garden. It was probably the best concert I have ever been to. I have never heard a crowd drown out a band before in my life....it was just incredible!!! I'm counting down til I see them again in Toronto this September!

Last Night I got to see Eddie Money. It was a great concert! I wasn't planning on going because the crowds were going to be huge, and this was being held at a local festival. But at around 4 PM a storm moved through. This scared a lot of people away. Thankfully the storm ended around 5:30. We decided to leave for the concert around then. We got there around 6:15. The concert started at 9 so we spent around two hours listening to smaller bands (Gutterluck was really good) and visiting all of the craft stands around the festival. Just after we got to the stage we saw a van pull up. Out came Eddie Money and his band. They then got in Golf Carts and were driven away. We didn't see them come back but at around 9:10 we saw the band walk on to the stage. Soon after Eddie jumped up from behind the drums. The show started off with "2 Tickets to Paradise" and continued with hits like "Take me Home Tonight" and "Give me Some Water." The show was excellant and Tommy Girven the Guitarist was great. I would reccomend you go to an Eddie Money show if he comes to your area. Next up I want to see Robert Plant (former Led-Zeppelin front man).

30 Seconds to Mars was last night, and it was simply amazing.
They played some of their new stuff (which sounds awesome, BTW) and alot of their stuff from the first CD.
Best performance of the night went to Jared's slow, a capella version of Capricorn.

Plus, at the end, they set up a table for autographs. I got to meet them all, get my new shirt signed, and shake their hands. They also commented on my homemade 30STM shirt.

I can't wait till they come back

Last night I saw the Allman Brothers Band in Atlanta. It was absolutely MINDBLOWING. I don't know how many of you like them, but they truly are unbelievable, especially live.

Well...I was supposed to see Coldplay's Twisted Logic Tour this past weekend on the 24th near Houston...But Rita thought differently and made them go away...But they played the Austin City Limits Festival. But I couldn't go to that...

I've seen Hellogoodbye and Armor For Sleep and part of Recover (part because he was so drugged he passed out in the middle of the set, so I left...) live before too...
I also got my hands on two reserved seating tickets to Mars Volta's show here near Houston, but I couldnt go to that either.

So I hawked them off to a few friends! That made them happy, but they had to pay me. Mmm.

Most recently, I had floor tickets with my buddies at the Weezer/Foo Fighters concert at the Cox Arena in San Diego just a few days ago on the 27th of September. It was a blast! Both bands really know how to put on a show and work the crowd! Especially Foo Fighters...I can't say anybody was disappointed. It was spectacular. The next concert I'm going to is in Hollywood on the 22nd of October. It's Queen and Paul Rogers. Wooooo!

Last show I saw was Aerosmith on January 12th at the new Charlotte Bobcats Arena.

Very good show. Although they didn't play much from the mid to late 80's. Mainly the new stuff and the really old stuff.

But it was all good.

I'm amazed that Steven Tyler can still hit those notes in his 60's.

I really hope your not going for nickleback. ^

I went to my first concert last month and it was my friend's band. they are really good (no bias here). The concert was great and well done.
They could be the next phish unless they change somehow. I always knew my friend would be famous and their band is quickly becoming famous throughout Omaha and it will be a matter of time before they get even more popular. They are a Jam band that does mostly cover songs, but are coming up with a lot of their own, and they are called Polydypsia (dont ask). Chances are if you dont like this type of music you wont really like them.

Unfortunately, the last concert I went to was Blink 182 w/ No doubt in June 04(both are/were awsome live, blink is hilarious). I hope to get tickets to the alkaline trio concert in NYC during April though.

now im even more excited to see chevelle! and i feel ur pain about no body coming near you. I live in a city of 100,000 in the middle of nowhere and were lucky if we get a rock concert of any kind twice a year. and my parents wont drive me three hours to go to any other citys >_<

I felt inclined to update this, because I finally got to see Coldplay last night! The show was incredible! Fiona Apple opened for them, and she was alright. Though my seats were nosebleed (second to last row from top...) I still enjoyed it. However, half way through the concert, my friend called me and told me she had tickets for me! I went down there, and I got her tickets, and she was 5th row from the floor! I could actually see Chris Martin's face! It was amazing and I had a blast. I can't wait until they come back again!

Sunday I saw Relient K, Class of 98 and The Rocket Summer

Great concert. I just wish RK would have played longer. It was sold out too!

Here's some pics (although dark, but you get the idea).
