Their set started with Gerard coming out on a stretcher with the heart monitor going and starting to sing "The End" that song went right into "Dead!" and they continued to play their entire Black Parade album from there...which really is a great line up for a show. The order of the songs is great, and made for a good show by itself. They finished the song "The Black Parade" with 4 huge confetti cannons and fireworks. "Mama" and "Famous Last Words" both had huge fire cannons going, and "Disenchanted" had a curtain of downward fireworks over the stage. After finishing their Black Parade set they left stage, and the lights went dark while they did a set change and the band got changed. The band came back out in Toronto Maple Leaf jerseys and chaged the set to their "3 Cheers for Sweet Revenge" backdrop. They sang 5 songs off that CD including "I'm not Ok", "Cemetary Drive", and finished it all with "Helena". They also brought one of their set designers and technicians up on stage to give him a cake and sing him Happy Birthday. It wasn't his birthday, but it was his last day with the band before we went on to do the Rolling Stones.

All in all, a great concert, and my number 2 now. Number one being Linkin Park w/Story of the Year, Hoobastank, and POD.
Sounds great, I really wanted to go to this tour so I could have heard the entire black parade in its entirety.

As for your number one and number two shows, this summer your in luck. Because LP has announced the line-up for their projekt revolution tour, and it has LP (obviously) and the coheadliners are MCR.

I was very happy with their performance of "House of Wolves" sinces that my favourite song of their CD. last show I went to was MCR as well.

MUSE opened and they have great great GREAT musical skills, i love listening to their albums, and they had an amazing light show but I honestly was kinda bored during their set.

but then came MCR, the whole black parade set was absolutely AMAZING. loved every minute of it and then they came back out after "Blood" played over the sound system (from the cd, they didn't perform it) and did "Thank you for the venom", "I'm not okay", "heaven help us", "helena", and "You know what they do to guys like us in prison".

amazing night. They're my favorite band so after almost 4 years of listening to them I finally got to see them live. had a blast.

next concert: Fan Fair.

Presale starts this friday for the Toronto show...it's about time Projekt Revolution comes to Canada too. I'm excited to see LP, MCR, and Taking Back Sunday, but I could care less about the other bands, except maybe Mindless Self Indulgence

I also hope LP does a world tour like they did for Meteora so they can have more play time than what they'll probably have at Projekt Revolution.

I was able to get floor tickets for the Bristow show. Im insanely excited. LP, MCR, TBS, Placebo, and MSI are going to be awsome. The 85 dollar tickets (after charges) were pretty steep, but they will be worth it.

I hope to see either Genesis or The Police if either come close to me.

This might be the last time to see both of them.

Thank god someone else knows about Umphrey's. I'm gonna see them on July 1 with the Disco Biscuits. Sheikra have you seen Perpetual Groove, Moe, or Tea Leaf Green? All are similar to UM and equally amazing.

Wow, I'm surprised it wasn't the other way around, Muse is a much better band than MCR. Are you sure it wasn't a whole festival with a bunch of bands?

I went to Bamboozle earlier this month, which is a small festival thing here in Jersey. There are nine stages, and during the day it's weird bands, but at night was the good stuff. I really came to see just one band, Muse. I got there early and slept on a patch of grass for most of it. Then I got to one of the stages, where M. C. Hammer performed a good show. Then Saves the Day came up, which I really didn't like, but watched front row so I could be there in time for Muse.

Next up was Muse. They're a great band. As mentioned, they had a great light show, and their music is really good. Heavy, but not too heavy.

MCR played on the stage right by where muse played after Muse was done, (hellogoodbye preceded MCR on their stage), but I decided to leave, nothing at that place could beat Muse.

Also I have tickets to see Muse at MSG in August.

hahaha "and during the day its wierd bands" sorry that made me laugh.
I wanted to go to Bamboozle so badly! the lineup was killer, yes even the wierd bands during the day
There were so many bands I wanted to see, I wouldnt have been able to get to all of them. Instead I was taking an SAT all day.

oh and then this...
"and then Saves The Day came up, which I really didnt like"
You should be slapped. haha. STD is an insanely talented band, and Chris Conley is an insanely talented performer.

Oh and btw, about the first part of your post, Bamboozle wasnt the only place Muse Played before MCR. Muse actually opened for MCR on half of MCR's US headlining tour.

I just bought a ticket to see Ferry Corsten at the Dragon Fly Club/Fallsview Casino. He's a Trance DJ (one the early ones). I've never been to a show like this, and am looking forward to it.

Last November, I saw was Chick Corea & the Elektric Band w/ Victor Wooten sitting in on bass (of Bela Fleck & The Fleck Tones). Chick Corea plays Jazz, and w/ this band, it was Fusion. My Ex & I flew into NYNY to see him at this tiny club & flew out the next day. It was probably the most amazing expierance of my life. Had great fun.

That's awesome. I saw Chick Corea and Bela Fleck a few months ago, but there wasn't a band accompanying them. Very talented couple of guys right there. Victor Wooten is badass on the bass. I've seen him a few times, both with the Flecktones and sitting in with other bands.

^^I like Ferry Corsten. Fire is a good song. A little older, but still awesome.

That's weird that Muse opened for MCR. I would've bought the ticket just to see them. Either way, I'm seeing them doing their own show.

About STD, I didn't like it, sorry. I would've rather seen NFG or hellogoodbye. But in reality, I don't really like much alternative to begin with. Muse is heavy, not so much alternative. A lot of the music I like falls into alternative, but I usually only like it when it involves a lot of synth, and when it's psychedilic.

The Dandy Warhols are one of my favorite bands. I can't wait till they tour again.

Did someone say 311?

No surprise here as I'll once again be seeing 311, Matisyahu, and The English Beat here in Atlanta. It may be my last 311 show for a while as I'm not sure so I'll be going to as many concerts in college. Plus it'll be my 8th show and I'm getting sick of 311 fans as a whole. Trying to deal with drunk/high people for an entire concert isn't much fun and thats happening more often now.

I'm also planning on going to the Morrissey show here. I've wanted to see him for a while and since he tours pretty sporadically I can't miss this chance.

On may 12th I saw Gwen Stefani...waited 6 months for that day and had the time of my life! She was awesome. Lady Soverign and Akon opened up for her, and they were great too. I had second row, dead center, so basically she was singing to me the whole night.

Lady Soverign and great should never be in the same sentence together.
She is one artist that I wouldn't mind being wiped clear off the face of the Earth and out of existance all together. Her and her use (destruction) of the english language anger and annoy me. Seriously, it's "breasts" not "breasteses"...

I had a ticket to see the Flectones back in September...but it fell on the same day as my 3 year anniversary w/ my ex (and I was heading out to Vancouver the next day)...so I sold my ticket.

So she found out about this show and we went.

Looking forward to hearing the new album they did.

I have the presale password for Projekt Revolution in Toronto, but I cant pick my seats. I want Level 400 seats for $39.50, but it keeps giving me different level 400 seats for $85.50.
I love LP and MCR, but $85.50 plus service charges and tax is out of my budget.
What good is telling customers that there are cheaper tickets if you're not going to let them chose those tickets?

I even tried calling Ticketmaster and asking if they could do it for me, but they said I would have to line up at a retail outlet and buy them in person. Bastards.

EDIT - Ticketmaster fixed their online ordering, I was able to choose what ticket price I wanted. Thank god for presales. So, looks like m next concert is Projekt Revolution on Aug 21

Dang, sooo was the entire pricing for the 400th level messed up, or what? Because at my date the most expensive ticket was 75, and that was for GA floor and/or the 100 section.

I decided to go all out and get floor tickets, its hell of alot of money for one show, and it is going to make me get a job, but it'll be worth it.

I'm totally jealous though, I've wanted to go to bamboozle for SOOOOOOOOOOOO long. Cute Is What We Aim For, Boys Like Girls, The Pink Spiders, and MCR all in one weekend. I would've died. all four of my favorites.

hellogoodbye right before MCR. that makes me giggle. i love hellogoodbye's old stuff though. like shimmy shimmy quarter turn.

I just saw Gin Blossoms again for the third time. This time they were at June Fete @ Princeton University. In the football stadium in the endzone was the stage and show. We learned three members of the band are graduates of Princeton. The band hails from Tempe Arizona. We heard "Hey Jealousy", "Allison Road" of course. I was so glad they closed the show with my favorite Gin Blossoms song: "Follow You Down."

The 311 show may be unlikely. I am shooting for a late August show of LIVE, Collective Soul, and Counting Crows. Reliving my youth of the 90s.

Last night I saw two "Texas Country" bands.

Bart Crow Band and Eli Young Band. Both put on great shows. The guitarist from Bart Crow Band is really good and plays good jams. BCB is a pretty new band and I really enjoy their music. I've been listeing to EYB for about a year. First time seeing them both. Hope to see them later on.

having a hard time of it this summer.
last yer i did some heavy travellin to a few fests and saw some great bands in my town but i moved recently and am low on travellin funds and nothing much is coming to where i live.

I do plan on going to see Torche, Baroness, black Tusk and a few others in Savannah in a month. Metal neck for sure.

I think the last thing i went to that one might consider a concert was Yonder Mountain String Band way back in February. Been to a bunch of "shows" though...and that's pretty much all I ever go to anymore. Shows and small festivals. Big venue bands and crowds don't do much for me anymore...unless it was somebody really worth seeing.

The last concert I went to was Barenaked Ladies last fall. That was a great concert. Last summer I was at a Trapt/Shinedown/Evans Blue/Halestorm concert. That one was just loud.
This summer, I hope I can get to the Weird Al concert. Weird Al is amazing.
