I think Nintendo' thing is to make it family-friendly. People have to deliberately give out their identification, so that random people can't find you, play you, and then come to your house and rape you. LOL.

It's really a shame the big N chose this route. Xbox Live is pretty much amazing. Xbox has learned a lot from Nintendo... maybe N can learn from them.
