Somebodys got way too much time on their hands.

This is called backmasking and when I was a teenager we sat around in youth group listening to this garbage.

Whoever made this up has quite the imagination as many of the supposed "words" are just garbled at best and you could put any word in their place.

It's not freaky, it's just old news to me. I doubt Led Zeppelin ever worshiped the devil. Check out the link I provided above, it will pretty much explain the whole thing.

This isn't freaky. However, it is interesting that a little bit of it does sound like words. What's even more interesting is that someone sat there for hours and tried to decipher words that aren't there. There are some sounds that are repeated several times, and each time the person deciphered them as a different word that vaguely sounds similar to what is heard. I don't know how they even got words out of some of those parts. I also noticed spots where there was noise and the person chose to ignore it because it didn't fit their lyrics.

Anyone knows that "Stairway to Heaven" backwards is simply the train somehow rolling down the lift on Millennium Force.

I've heard this before, and all I can say is that the person who thought these words up has quite an imagination. IMO this song playing backwards sounds like a song playing backwards, but that person can believe whatever they want to.

Yeah I've seen this before as well. Supposedly a "subliminal message" but most likely majorly tweaked. There are many more, also probably changed.

The entire validity of back masking was shown in the late 80's/early 90's when some telepreacher trying to make a name for himself announced that he found Satanic messages when he played the "Mr. Ed" theme backwards.

What kind of twisted mind decides "Hey, maybe there's a backwards message in the Mr Ed theme? Lord knows what he found when he played the theme to "Sesame Street" backwards.

Now, I'm a Christian, and am about one million miles from bashing Christianity. But, I also will not apologize for someone being stupid, just because that person says they're a Chrisitian. Actually, I'm more likely to call out someone who claims to be a Christian, because they give the faith a black eye, IMHO.

This is the unedited song backwards, but there's absolutely nothing to the whole hidden messages thing, just some over active imaginations. I do enjoy the song backwards more than forwards anymore though.

Well the funny thing is, isn't the song (forward) about suicide?

You'd think they would be more upset about that than some random backwards words that might/might not be there.

But how is it supposed to be subliminal, if it's backwards and I'm listening to it fowards? LOL

I don't think anyone knows what Robert Plant is going on about in this song. There are lots of theories, but who knows.

Remember that scene in Little Nicky when they pull out an Ozzy record and start playing it backwards? Then Adam Sandler says how Ozzy always came out with his message straightforward. Then he pulls a Chicago record and plays that backwards...

This sort of thing has been around a long time, there are tons of songs with supposed messages in them if you play them backwards. To me its mainly as said, garbled mess but the one I can actually discern words from is a famous song by Queen, "another one bites the dust." I'll see if I can find that somewhere on youtube.

^Hahah, I remember that scene from Little Nicky; pretty funny movie. I've heard the suposed Queen message in "another one bites the dust"; at some point in the song when playing it backwards, you can here them say "It's fun to smoke marijuana." Here's a whole page of backmasking:

If you really want to find messages, you will. Like I mentioned before, somebody claimed to have found satanic messages playing the "Mr Ed " theme backwards.

And you thought the "666" on Mr Ed was where he was branded.
