| | | Is there a song out there?.... Just what the title says. Is there a song out there that is just "so you" or you and your significant other?
I love music in general, but I have a few songs that say, yeah that's so me. Which in turn I turn up the tunes and jam to it.
The song my future husband and I are dancing to is "You and I" by Michael Buble'.
I also love "*****" by Meredith Brooks. Great girl tune.
"I love Rock N Roll" by Joan Jett is another.
What are your songs that you just can't get enough of??

| | | We are doing something like this in English where we have to create a "Sound Track of our Life" where we have to pick 5 songs, the first one being our main theme song, and then the other 4 just being songs that describe us. So far I've got Free and easy down the road i go by dirks bently, and How Long by the eagles...

| | | I feel like "Dig" by Incubus can describe me at times. Not with a significant other, but just to anybody who I am close to, such as a friend. |

| | | For me it would be Rocky Top. I have several different versions of it recorded, including (believe it or not) a heavy metal version

| | | Teritorrial P***ings my Nrivana and Sex Type Thing by Stone Temple Pilots is what I usually rock out to. Sometimes some Queens of the Stone Age and AFI finds its way into my norm too.

| | | I really don't have any suggestions, but for my funeral, when you're walking out of church, I want "Play That Funky Music". |

| | | Haha, that's great. I actually wanted to hear what tracks like that would be preferred other than for our most common demographic.
My friend at his funeral wants his box to say "Return to sender."

Right...
Oh, and on topic, any Beatles/The Who is good by me.

| | | During the 80s and early 90s I'd say my song was probably Atom Ant's "Goody Two Shoes". Cause that's how I was, not that that was a good thing.
Now I'm probably more the Bobby McFarren's "Don't worry be happy". I'm a lot more relaxed than I was in my teens and early 20s.
As far as my favorite bands, those would be The Beatles, U2 and Van Halen. With Boston probably coming in 4th.

| | | ^ I remember my trip to King's Island for grad night '87 (back when the coasters were pulled up the lift hills by horses)
We took the T-tops out of my Firebird, put Boston's "Third Stage" in the tape deck (with auto reverse- remember those?) and just let it play the whole trip over.

I'll second that one, and then I'll add,
"Line and Sinker" by Billy Talent.
"Pardon Me" by Incubus
"Bullet With Butterfly Wings" by Smashing Pumpkins.
