| | | American Gladiators It's Back! Did anyone else see the comercial for it on NBC? When my brother and I saw it our conversation stopped dead and I about crapped my pants. I loved this show when I was a kid, and I still watch the repeats occasionally. Hopefully they bring back the classics like the Joust, Powerball, Breakthrough and Conquer, the Wall, Assault, and of course The Eliminator. Here's the link to the IMDb page.

| | Yeah I hope they don't make it too serious.
But am I the only one that was a little creaped out by the women on the original one?
They were so huge they looked like men.

| | | Ah, who cares about Laila Ali, it has Hulk Hogan. 'Nuff said.
I used to watch the old show regularly in the 80's/90's and that's a big reason why it was cheesy. Most stuff during that time was cheesy. It'll be cool to watch, I'm looking forward to it.
I also like the idea of bringing it back because ESPN doesn't air much weightlifting or strongest man competitions anymore and I love watching things like that. So this will be a nice alternative.

| | | Me and my friends have been watching the old version on Classic for a while now when were bored. It is fun to watch all the people from the 90's in the colorful jumpsuits and such. I also hope it is not as serious.

| | | Just having Hulk Hogan as a commentator says that they're not going to take it seriously.

| | | I'm somewhat intrested that they are bringing back the show. I always enjoyed the show in the 90's and i think it would be awesome with all the new thing they could come up with these days.
I'll watch it for a few episodes to see how it is.

Hulk is an icon, known by the older group such as I for his wrestling and mostly bad movies, and the younger group know him from Hogan Knows best. Hogan is a larger than life character and will draw people in to watch just to see him. I think it was a smart idea. A terrible idea would be to have Mike Tyson.
