Evel Kineval died today of hepatitis. Kindof sucks for SFStL.

^It sucks more for his family and friends.

As for SFStl, the coaster may actually be looked as as a memorial for him, which may bring even more people in, but that's not the point. R.I.P.

Maybe they'll bury him underneath the ride that carries his namesake. Or scatter his ashes on the track for the opening ceremony. (kidding).

RIP. The man is a legend, and my prayers are with his family.

That's sad and weird cause the same thing happened, sorta to Ray Charles.

He died right as the movie about him came out. Fortunatly he did get to "see" it before passing.

At least this can now apply to our hobby and I don't have to get grilled for starting a died thread. That's a shame he passed away before the ride's opening.

Nope. It's a doughnut shop in dayton. Anyway this is a sad day. All me best to his family. We lost a legend today.

CNN had a good story this past Sunday about Evel. I got to see some footage of his stunts. There was viewers emails read. No mention of the coaster. That would be going to far into it all.
